A day off Part 1

Dekotas Pov:
"Father I'm heading out to the village today, I'll see you later" I said as I was about to head out, "Wait! Make sure Damitri goes with you, and make sure to say hi to Lindsay and Papen for me alright" my father Lord Domanic said as Damitri, my knight went directly to me. "Yes father see you later" I said as we went to the village.

"So what are we doing today Lady Dekota?" Damitri asked as we walked down the path. "Damitri you know you don't need to call me that, and to answer your question we are going to visit the orphanage along with the sirens and get something to eat, I skipped out on breakfast" I said as we reached my favorite bar "alright Dekota". "Well, well, well if it isn't Lady Dekota, how how've yea been and what can I get for you and your knight friend?" The bartender said as we took a seat "Aw come on Eric you know I don't really care about the fancy titles until I am a proper Lord" I said as I looked over the menu "yeah I know, it's just fun teasing yea. So Damitri how have you been?" Eric asked as he cleaned some of the dirty cups "I've been good, been practicing my sword skills and defense moves with Dekota, Knight Logan, and Knight Lulu" Damitri respond as he decided on what to get.

Time skip cuz I'm lazy and tired

Once Damitri and I finished eating we headed off to the orphanage to see Lindsay, Palen along with the orphans. Once we got there I was immediately greeted by a little boy with black hair and wolf ears "DEKOTA!!!" the little boy screamed as he hugged me tight "Phillip, it's great to see you do you know where Lindsay and Palen are?" I asked as I hugged Phillip "We're right here sugar" as I looked up I was greeted by Lindsay's voice while Palen was standing next to her. "It's great to see you three but where are-" just as I was about to finish my sentence Damitri fell to the floor by 5 kids jumping on him "WE GOT HIM, FINALLY!!!" A little girl with red hair said as the others laughed and giggled. "Leia, get off the poor guy, this is our one day off for this week" I said while picking her up "Hey Dekota, and come on we finally got him off guard, it was the peerrrfect plan" Leia said whining a little."Come on now, if we keep this up we can get better at sneaking up on others and besides you didn't even hear us coming so it was the perfect plan" a boy with an upside down heart necklace named Lector said with sass, which made me realize I didn't even notice them sneaking up on us, even with wolf ears and nose I didn't notice them whatsoever.
"Huh your right I didn't even notice you all" I said as the others got off of Damitri, "well I guess once we get back we need to work on your hearing and sense of smell" Damitri said as he got back up while Phillip was trying to get picked up by him, and he was. "Hey Mr.Damitri do you think you could teach us how to fight one day?" a little Witch girl with emerald green asked as while she grabbed a stick and started swinging it around then later falling to the ground. "Aw Eliza maybe one day but don't you know magic?" I asked as I helped her get up "yeah but I can't control it yet, but Katherine is better at controlling it then I am", "Yeah but I can't actually do big spells like summoning something out of thin air" said Katherine, a little girl with a blonde-ish color hair said as she walked up to us, "its good to see you both Mr and Mrs Damitri" a little centaur deer said while she was prancing. "Josie we told you we aren't married nor dating her is just my Guard" (AN:yeah for now lol) I said a little flustered and embarrassed and I could tell Damitri was as well. "I know but you two seem so cute together" Josie said she gave a cute little bright smile, she was to adorable "so how long are y'all staying this time?" Lindsay said as she walked towards us "I'm afraid not that long, we're going to visit the sirens today and then go train for as much as we can" Damitri said as he put down Lector "Oh that's a shame we wish you could stay with us for a little longer" Palen said a little disappointed, "yes well you know how it is maybe some other day" I said with a little joy yet disappointed, I really do wish I could stay longer "hey maybe next time you and Damitri could adopt one of the orphan's since yeah know~" as Lindsay whispered that to me I started to turn red since she knew I did like Damitri even if he was my Guard "L-LINDSAY!" I said as I turned super red from what she said "Hehe sorry hun but it is true" she was right and I couldn't blame her, "yeah but you know I have my responsibilities as the next Lord, but maybe I would adopt Phillip one day once I know I can stand on my own" I whispered the last part to her not wanting anyone else to hear. "Well we'll be off now and Lord Domanic sends his regards" Damitri said as we headed out of the orphanage "do you really have to go" Pillip said with a sad tone "I'm sorry Phillip, next week I'll stay longer" I said to reassure him "you promise" Phillip said with his puppy face (makes sense he is a wolf) "I promise Phillip" just as I said that Damitri and I left and said our goodbyes.
