I yawned and scratched my balls. Nothing was good on television as usual so I just kept my tired eyes on the tv and picked at my brain. I've been here for the past three days and it's terribly boring. She's out doing whatever the hell she does and I laid here half awake. Is there anything fun here? No, trust me, I looked.
*KNOCK KNOCK*
"Pizza delivery!" The door screamed happily. I raised a thick brow and go up to open the door. A man stood smiling and handed me the pizza. "Have a nice day sir!" Before I could ask what this was he was gone like the wind. I blinked and closed the door warily. Um, okay. I opened the box and found an oil-drenched note in it. Out of curiosity, I deciphered the letter.
I bought you some food since I don't have a fridge, and I know for a fact you're more broke than a trampled vehicle, so enjoy you, damn freeloader!
There was a horribly drawn face at the end of the page and I chuckled. She definitely no artist. Munching on the pepperoni pizza I should go to the store and buy some pokébeans. In your face [Y/N] I do have some cash. Feeling snarky I grabbed my coat and went to the nearest market and bought a twelve pack. Since rainbow beans were legit for rich people I bought the generic and gave some to my friends. They all say down and nibbled on their snacks and sat near the ocean. The air was warm, telling me summer was drawing near. The sky was bright blue and the sun shined brightly. Every day here in Alola was a splendid day all year round. In the corner of my eye, I saw a man fishing and three kids played around him. He pries them away from him and seemed to point at each individual with a serious face and they weakly nodded and never bothered him again. I wonder what really happened? Did he scold them out of worry or frustration? The eldest man in his pitched up chair leaned back on his two feet and reeled in with pure strength, and a twelve-foot long school of Wishiwashi sprouted from the blue depths. I watched in awe as multiplying fish soared the air. The kids screamed in joy. That was a nice catch, I've got to hand it to him. They tightened the net and left without a trace left of tiny guppies.
What was it actually? The fact I'm here gazing out in the ocean dazed doesn't make any sense. Is this what it feels like when there's nothing else better to do besides wait and watch. Like something is going to happen but you don't know when? This feeling is so new to me. Something was always around the corner wanting to show its mysterious complexion. That's how its been for me. Now I'm an adult counting down the days for retirement. It's not like I have a job, maybe I should start looking into that. Are me and [Y/N] gonna be forever roommates? Were just so compatible now and I'm genuinely scared.
"Hey, Guzma!" Her voice was high and had an exciting tinge to it. I looked over and saw the [H/C] run my way. "What are you doing here?" She asked confused. I told her it was some walk I decided to take. "That's good! At least your not dragging your body at the duplex. Hey, I want you to meet someone!" A timid woman walked closer to us and her vibrant grassland on top of her head. I almost choked on my soul. "It's Emma! She's told me you two met each other a while back!" I'm sweating like a licking faucet. This can't be! What, why and how did she find me?!
"Hello, Guzma. " That woman. She made me sneer out of disgust. I got up and patted away the dirt off my trousers. "It's been a while, I don't understand why you bailed out without second notice." This wasn't the time, mainly with [Y/N] here, I didn't want her to get tangled in the mess I found myself getting into.
"What do you want?" My words were meant to be unkind but she only smiled. Her eyes landed on the happy girl who played in the water with her overgrown muppet.
"I want to know, what that girl means to you." She normally meant nothing beside someone she could relate but now things shift and change without you even knowing.
"I don't know, " I told her honestly. "But, if you do anything to harm her, it won't be pretty." She flicked her hair and walked away.
"It's not like I was planning to. It just depends on what I feel like doing."
