A Hat, Bow, and Hood In Time

The Hood

[Hat kid pov]
I was flying in my spaceship, I was trying to get home. It was kinda early in the morning, I put the ship in autopilot. When I did, I was greeted with a hug.

I call this girl Bow kid, people call me Hat kid, Bk was a stow away on my ship. While I didn't really like her at first, we grew closer as friends.
Bow kid: Good morning🎶.
Hat kid: Good morning.
Bow kid: So, I was thinking if we could stop at a planet?
Hat kid: Why?
Bow kid: Well, we've been flying for a while, and I don't think it would hurt to have a change of scenery. And who knows, we might get a new friend!
Hat kid: Well, it is kinda lonely with just you and me...alright, next planet we'll stop at.
Bk jumped with joy. I got back into the pilot seat and seat course for the nearest planet. After a while of flying we found a planet, the ship automatically went to it. Bk and I was playing patty cake. When the ship landed, we both got up, and went out.
Bow kid: I can't wait to see how cool this-
She stopped mid sentence. We stared in horror at the wasteland in front of us. No grass, no buildings, no...anything.
Hat kid: What happened here?
Just then we heard groaning, we both jumped and look in the sounds direction. It was a kid in a hoodie.

He was walking and groaning. We both just stared at him. He then looked up at us. His eyes went wide and he stumbled back and fell on his back. He was breathing heavily.
Bow kid: ...Um...hi.
He didn't move.
Hat kid: Are you ok?
I took a step towards him, he crawled back a bit.
Hat kid: Don't be scared, I won't hurt you.
I began to walk towards him, he crawled back more. After a few steps he got up.
???: No....
I stopped. His voice was raspy.
???: Leave...me...alone....
Bow kid: Just calm down.
He was shaking at this point.
Hat kid: Look, this place is a wasteland, you have to come with us.
He didn't say anything.
Bow kid: It's a lot better on the ship.
He stopped shaking.
Hat kid: And safe.
His breathing went back to normal.
???: ...Safe?
Hat kid: Yeah.
Bow kid: And, it's a lot more fun!
He stared at us for a moment, then he took a step towards us. Then another, and eventually he walked up to us.
Hat kid: Trust me, it's better on the ship.
Bow kid: Oh, do you have a name?
???: ...No.
Hat kid: What if we give you one?
???: ....Ok.
I looked him up and down.
Hat kid: How about hood?
Bow kid: To generic, and that's coming from me, his name should be wink.
Hat kid: Wink?
Bow kid: Better than yours.
Hat kid: Is not!
Bow kid: Is too!
Hat kid: Is not!
Bow kid: Is too!
???: Both?
We both look at him, I think for a moment.
Hat kid: Hoodwink...I like it.
Bow kid: Yeah, guess it's official.
I took his hand and lead him back to the ship.
Hoodwink: Wait!
He turned around and ran back and disappeared behind a building. When he came back he had a teddy bear.
Hoodwink: Ok, leave now.
Bk and I smiled at him and we all went into the ship and took off.

Ok, so now I will tell you a bit about how hoodwink works. You know how in a hat in time you have to find yarn to make hats to use powers? For hoodwink, it would be different mask that he draw a by finding crayons, he'll even have his own abilities. He will also have his own side story along with the main one. Finally, that little question mark on his chest will actually change depending on his emotion.
