The following morning I was too embarrassed to come out of my room. How much had Y/N heard? By god, they were beautiful though. Their hair, eyes, everything about them was perfect.
Although, being in love with basically your sworn enemy isn't exactly an ideal thing.
I sighed as I paced my room. I hadn't even gotten dressed. I was still in my boxers. I heard a knock on the door and then the door opened.
"Uh, hi Rem," I heard Y/N's voice say. Then I saw Y/N's head peek through the semi-open door. I couldn't throw myself under the covers in time. The bright red that flushed their face, and the heat that came to mine was unbearable.
"Oh god! I'm so sorry Rem!" Y/N said, averting their eyes.
"No. It's my fault, I'm sorry," I said, sounding more dead inside than I already am. There was really no emotion behind what I said. I threw on a pair of pants.
Y/n walked in, sitting next to me on the bed.
"I'm sorry." They said, looking down at the ground. I raised an eyebrow.
"Sorry for what, Y/n?"
"Eavesdropping,... and sleeping with Sebastian-"
When I heard Y/n say that, I could feel the pain in my chest.
"-If I would've known you had a thing for me, or the feud you two have, I wouldn't have done it. I'm really sorry." They looked up at me, with tears forming in their eyes.
I could tell Y/n felt awful. I smiled warmly at them, "Hey, it's okay."
The look of relief crossed their face. Y/n hugged me tightly. I smiled again and hugged them back.
