As I hugged Remington I felt a sense of relief. I've felt so awful, I wish I'd have known he had feelings for me. I mean, it should've been obvious at first but I'm a clueless fuck.
I felt like I had hugged him too long, but we didn't seem to mind. I could hear is heart beating a little faster than usual. I grinned to myself.
Honestly, I don't know how I feel about Remington. He's really quite handsome, and just everything you could ever want in a guy. Sweet, caring, fuckable, a vampire. But, my feelings are could just be confused with the longing for my parents comfort.
The last thing I would want to do is toy with Remington's emotions.

Remington and I ended up spending a fairly decent amount of the day together. We were getting ready to go out to dinner, and I stepped out the door and waited for him.
I heard something behind me, I jerked and looked around but I only saw the light peaking out from behind the trees. I looked back to the door, waiting for Remington to come out. Now I was more anxious, I looked back to the trees. I watched the forest for a moment.
Next thing I knew, there was a cloth around my mouth and everything went black.
