When breath becomes air (angst)

Jungkook looked at his beloved and smiled

"You're taking me out today?" He asked taehyung, his boyfriend for 10 years and he nodded

"I've not been out for two weeks because you weren't here. No one would take me out rather than you" jungkook pouted and taehyung giggled but choked at it

"I'm healing day by day. I think I'll be able to walk once again in one year or something" jungkook smiled while taehyung dragged his wheelchair

"That would be so good!" Taehyung cheered and jungkook felt his teardrops falling on his neck

He turned to look at taehyung who was crying

"Hey baby, why are you crying? Stop crying okay, I love you" jungkook said and taehyung nodded

"I-i love you too and I'm c-crying because i-i'm so happy for you" he choked out

Jungkook smiled as he wiped taehyung's tear and kissed him sweetly feeling the salty tears of taehyung in them

"By the way, where are we going today?" Jungkook asked

"To the rooftop" taehyung smiled

"Really? I haven't seen the building from the rooftop, I'm excited" jungkook chuckled

Jungkook had an accident 5 years ago which paralyzed his legs. But he's getting better

Taehyung has always been with him through his thick and thin. He took care of him like no one could. He meant him more than his parents who just came to visit him once a month while taehyung stayed in the hospital for him

Jungkook really loved taehyung so much.

They reached the rooftop as the cold air met with the two's face.

"It's so cold here" jungkook rubbed his arms and taehyung came in front of jungkook and hugged him to create warmth as jungkook smiled in it

"Do you know winter is the season of sadness?" Taehyung said, uncontrollable tears flowing out of his eyes

"Maybe it is, but every season seems like spring when you are with me" jungkook said, cupping taehyung's face to kiss him as both smiled in the kiss

They were out of breath but taehyung didn't seem to let go sooner as he cried in the kiss

"Hey, why you crying so much?" jungkook asked as taehyung giggled

"I-i'm so happy that you're finally be able to walk. M-my hard work will finally pay. Promise me that you'd come to see me first when you start to walk" taehyung said and jungkook smiled at him while caressing his cheek

"I promise" jungkook smiled and taehyung got up from the ground and walked behind jungkook

"I love you so much, jungkook" taehyung choked out and jungkook replied back with an i love you too

Taehyung shoved a piece of paper in jungkook's pocket who chuckled and asked him about it

"Open it later" 

Suddenly jungkook saw taehyung walking backwards and he giggled at him

"What are you doing, baby?" jungkook giggled

"I really really love you, jungkook" taehyung smiled, tears flowing out of his eyes and jungkook stopped laughing

He saw that taehyung was walking towards the edge and his heart dropped in his chest as his breath hitched

"W-what are you doing, taehyung!" jungkook stuttered out, his chest tightening inside his chest

"Keep your promise, kookie. Come to see me first" taehyung said as he stepped over the railing
