"i still love you..." hyunjin couldn't believe what he just heard. he quickly slaps himself, "fuck! oh shit...i'm not dreaming..." he quickly squishes jeongin's face. "hyunjin, what are you doing?"

"making sure i'm not dreaming!" jeongin slaps hyunjin's hands to let go of his face. "you're not dreaming."

"oh my...you still love me?"

"yes..."

"but what i did...was unforgettable...i hurt you..." hyunjin looks down. "just hear me out, okay?"

"okay."

"what happened back in australia hurt me. you hurt me hyunjin, but that never stopped on how i feel about you. it hurts because i still love you. i still want to be with you but..."

"but?"

"i think it's too soon. we need to grow and give some space before we think about us again. let's just start off as close friends. start over." jeongin gently grabs his hand. "okay...but what about taehyun?" jeongin rolls his eyes. "he's just a friend, hyunjin."

"really? i saw that little cheek kiss..." jeongin grabs hyunjin's face, "we're just friends, believe me." hyunjin looks down at jeongin, "i wanna kiss you so bad..." jeongin blushes, "yah! you can't say stuff like that after what i just told you!"

"i cant help it! i mean you are right here in front of my face!" jeongin steps back and continues blushing. "so, just friends?" hyunjin asked. "just friends."

"what happens if someone...gets in our way from being together. like we meet someone new..." hyunjin worries. "if that ever happens, we'll talk about it. my parents always tell me that communication is the key to any relationship."

"okay," hyunjin and jeongin give each other a small, friendly smile.

min-jeon residence
taehyung is finally back home! the kims are having dinner with the min-jeons. everyone notice that jeongin and hyunjin are slowly being friendly again. the parents are glad. "so jungkook, do you know what you're having yet?" taehyung asked. "no, we want to be surprised with this baby."

"i hope it's a girl!" jeongin said with excitement.

"i don't care as long he or she doesn't touch my stuff like someone here," minho stares at jeongin. "yah! i'm your little brother! you have to share everything with me!"

"no i don't!"

"yes you do!"

"no!"

"yes!"

"uhhh are you sure you want another kid?" felix asked. "they get their brat side from jungkook," yoongi takes a sip from his wine. "YAH!" jungkook smacks yoongi's arm. after dinner, taehyung offered to clean up as thank you for letting his boys staying over. hyunjin was helping his dad with dishes. taehyung walks back into the kitchen after wiping down the table. he looks over to son who was washing the dishes, "looks like you and jeongin are getting along again."

"yeah, decided to be friends again. it was awkward at first when we came back from australia but glad things are slowly going back as it was. well back when we just friends," hyunjin said as he turns off the water. "i miss you so much, son". taehyung tried to give hyunjin a hug when hyunjin was trying to dodge them. "DAAAAD!"

"GIVE YOUR DAD A HUG!"

"ILL HUG YOU DAD!" felix runs into the kitchen and hugs taehyung. "this is why felix is my favorite child."

"wait..WHAT?!"

"i'm his favorite, deal with it." felix tries to flip his hair and walks away.
