it's been a week since the party. everything is awkward now. (a/n: awkward silence🎶) jeongin doesn't eat breakfast with everyone. he stays in the room while everyone is down eating breakfast. there'll be times where they all go out and jeongin keeps his distance away from hyunjin and stays next felix. he doesn't even look at him. when hyunjin tries to approach jeongin, he walks away. far away from hyunjin. it was their last full day in australia before they leave tomorrow. "jeongin? baby?" jungkook knocks on the door. "baby please open the door for daddy..." jeongin was currently ignoring his dad. "jeongin. please."
"i cant dad..."
"what do you mean you can't?" jungkook worries, "baby what's wrong?"
"i'm stuck..."
"what do you mean you're stuck?!" jungkook hears a loud thud from the room. he tries to open the door and realizes it was unlock. he opens the door and sees his baby wrapped like a burrito in his blankets, laying on the floor. "see i'm stuck..." jungkook giggles as he helps his son up. "why were you in your blankets like that?"
"so it can protect me from being broken...but it didn't work..."
"you only fell off the bed."
"no...it didn't work because i feel broken...my heart feels broken..." jeongjn starts to cry. "oh my baby..." jungkook lays down with jeongin on the bed. he calms his baby down, "i know it hurts..."
"has papa every hurt you?"
"we fight...every couple fights. we talked about cheating before. i told your papa if he ever cheats on me...i would leave him. you should've seen your papa's face. he's one tough guy but when he heard those words, he was so scared. your papa and i never cheated on each other. we love each other too much..." jeongin looks up at the ceiling, "then hyunjin doesn't truly love me..."
"baby..."
"no dad...if he truly cared or even loved me...he would've listened to me at that party. i wanted to leave but no, he wanted to stay. drink alcohol and grind...that wasn't the hyunjin i fell in love with...why can't i find someone who loves me like how papa loves you..." jeongin shoves his face into jungkook's chest as jungkook wraps his arms around him. jeongin soon falls asleep and jungkook gently gets out of his grip and left the bedroom. jungkook walks into the living room checks the time, 12:37pm. taehyung was at work while yoongi took minho and felix to get some ice cream. jungkook heads out the door starts walking to the kim's hotel room. he knocks on the door. he waited a few seconds till the door opened with hyunjin on the other side. hyunjin didn't expect jungkook to come over, "uncle kookie..."
"don't call me that." jungkook said with a deep voice. "sorry uncle jungkook..." hyunjin bows and moves to the side to invite jungkook in. they both stood in the living room. "tell me what happened."
"what?"
"tell me your side of what happened or i'll get your uncle yoongi to come and talk to you."
"i don't remember much...i remember getting to the party. drinking. jeongin didn't want to drink. i've tried dancing with him..."
"you mean grind." hyunjin could see flames in his uncle's eyes. "yeah...anyway...after that i remember jeongin wanting to leave but i didn't. i wanted us to stay and have some fun. after jeongin walked away from me, it was a blur. i remember a girl handed me a drink. i didn't see her clearly. after downing the drink. i felt hot and somehow i was making out with my friend hana..." hyunjin looks down, trying not to cry. jungkook expression softens, "sounds like someone drugged you..." hyunjin cries out loud. he falls onto the floor while covering his face. jungkook goes on the floor next to hyunjin, "have you told your dad this?" hyunjin shook his head, "i was so upset with myself...i hurt jeongin! maybe i deserve this..."
"hyunjin...someone drugged you. that's serious..." jungkook sighs, "look it's our last day here...i'll try to have jeongin to come and listen to you tonight. while i'm doing that. you have to tell your dad about someone possibly drugging you at that party. okay?" hyunjin looks up at his uncle, "why are you helping me?"
"i don't want you or jeongin to be so broken when we go back home. especially if you and your brother are staying with us while dad stays and finish his work here." jungkook wrap a arm around hyunjin's shoulders, "promise you'll try to fix everything..."
"i promise..."
