Rogers held the space stone tightly in his hands, thinking of everything that has happened in the last few minutes.

His past has always bugged him. It randomly pops up in between and he can't help thinking about her. Every time, just one name.

Peggy.

His grip tightened around the infinity stone to the point where it hurt. He looked at his suit and then at the sky, what if he just ran away? He had a time-traveling suit, what else did he need?

He immediately felt guilty. He couldn't leave his family when they needed him the most, that was unacceptable. He sighed and looked at his feet when his thoughts got interrupted by an annoying piece of-

"You're doing that reminiscing thing again and it's annoying the shit out of me."

Rogers gave him a look.

"What? There's this thing called time and we don't have it!"

Steve nodded, knowing that Tony was right (for once), and slipped the infinity stone into his pocket.

Tony and Steve walked out of the crowd's view, they would get in serious trouble if they got spotted at this point.

"Watch it!" A young teenager called as he bumped into Rogers. He gave the boy a quick sorry, even though he was the one who bumped into him.

Tony nodded quietly at Cap as they both jumped into the Quantum Realm.

"You have the stone, right Cap?"

Rogers nodded and reached out for his pocket. A huge wave of panic hit him as he felt his empty pocket. He instantly started shaking.

"I don't have it," he whispered.

"What?"

"I DON'T HAVE THE STONE."

Both Steve and Tony searched furiously all around them for the infinity stone when Rodgers finally found it stuck on his belt.

"It's here Tony, I found it."

"Give it here, you can't even take care of a tiny stone" Stark grumbled as he attempted to snatch the stone from Steve's belt, while Steve moved away from him, as the stone fell from his belt into the quantum realm.

"GET IT," Rogers screamed.

"Why don't you get it, if you can take care of -"

"CUT THE DRAMA, GET THE STONE." Tony came into the realization that the stone was actually falling and he zoomed behind it.

But it was too late. The space stone was lost.

"Okay, now you got the hammer thingy, you happy yet?"

"Shut up rabbit," Thor grumbled as he searched for a better place to disappear.

He felt stronger, in a weird way. Something about seeing his mom again and getting the Mjolnir back had a huge effect on his will to live.

"You still have the Scary Angel Pirate look on, just saying."

Rocket almost didn't care what happened to the Earth. He just knew that his friends would want him to protect these people. He had to do this for his team.

"Perfect," Thor whispered as he saw a quiet corner behind a pole and was about to activate the suit when he heard Tony's voice from his earpiece.

"Hello? do you all copy? This is Tony and we've got a problem."

"Oh screw it, Thor, they don't know the difference between a problem and a minor discomf-." Rocket stopped mid-sentence and looked up at the sky.

They stared in horror. The sky was no more clear blue, but a mixture of red, yellow and purple clouds. The clouds became denser, as a huge tornado with a crystal-like texture and violent lightning made its way towards them.

After a huge pause, tony spoke up in a quiet muffled voice "The space stone... It got lost."

"Got lost WHERE exactly?" Nat said, trying to keep her calm.

"In the quantum realm", replied Tony, who was still clinging on to his ego.

The ten of them chewed on this bitter news with panic.

"WHAT DO YOU MEAN YOU-" "Calm down nebula, we'll figure it out," Rhodes said, calmly.

"No we'll not," said Clint, reassuringly.

At this point, the quantum tornado, which was supposedly here to get everyone who disturbed nature's balance by traveling through time, was extremely close to engulfing all ten of them.

"SOMEONE, ANYONE, DO SOMETHING," Tony said. Thor slowly looked at the reality stone and got an idea. The only thing better than getting lost at nowhere is getting lost at some random place that they've never seen before.

He could hear various screams over the earpiece, including his own, as the tornado engulfed them all. He lifted the reality stone and pointed it straight at the eye of the tornado.

"At least the last thing we hear is each other's soothing voices as we die as a team?" Lang said in a small voice.

"WE ARE ALL GONNA DIEEEEEEEE," Banner screamed on the top of his lungs.

Thor forced all his power into the stone and a red wave of light hit the eye of the tornado.

Boom

~

He could hear the innocent laughter of a kid. Is that what heaven sounds like?  Tony wondered as he slowly tried to open his eyes.

The place was filled with pure white clouds, they were huge. His surroundings smelled like cinnamon and coffee. Why was he seeing these things?

In the middle of the clouds, was a kid in a yellow raincoat, he was about four and was happily bouncing around, playing with his big red ball.

"Mom! Look! The ball is flying!!" he said gleefully as he threw the ball upwards. He caught it and almost fell down from its weight. He giggled and did it again.

He looked around, wondering why his mom is not here yet, "Mom? Dad?" He said uncertainty. The clouds started turning darker and darker.

"Hello!! Someone help me! I can't find my parents!" He cried and looked straight at Tony.

"Hello? can you help me find my parents?"

Tony stared at the kid and abruptly got up. "Okay, okay, calm down kid, don't cry." He stroked the little boy's head, reassuringly.

"Tell me, what's your name?"

"Peter Parker," the kid whimpered in reply, as a tear trickled down his face.
