Chapter 4

I turn around to see Jacob. "Jacob what are you doing here? It's almost cerfew!" I say "Well i wanted to see if you would like to go see a movie or go on a nice walk? I-i-f it's okay with your parent's that is...' My mom being the nosy women that she is comes into the room and nods her head saying that its okay as long as we are safe and dont do anything illegal. With thst said we head out. "So...uhm why did you ask me to come out with you this late?" I ask. Jacob says nothing. "You gonna tell me?" I ask. Still nothing. As we continue walking the path becomes more and more reconizeable, but yet it seems foregin at he same time. As we get closer and closer to it I reconize the palce now! Its were we both met! Jacob's taking me to the apple tree where we met. Awwwe how sweet of him, now the qusetion is why?

Jacob takes my hand in his as we get closer. Then I notice that he has set up a picnic for us. "I knew you'd like it." he says with a smile. "Like?! Oh Jacob I love it!" I look into his brown eyes, some of his hair is in his eyes I conseusly (sry if thats spelled wrong) move it out of his eyes. As I do he catches my hand and puts it on his cheek. I smile and look into his eyes. He is the first to look away. He takes me to the picnic that he has set up for us. I sit down an the blanket that he has set up for us. "So we will be eating your favorite....PASTA!" He says with a big grin as he pulls out the pasta. "Your such a goof Jac I hope you know that." I say with a smile.

We eat the pasta. We joke and laugh. "Now you know that I'm not the best cook Emily, but I made lemon cake just for you." Jacod says. ''Awwe Jacob..you didnt have to.." i say. "Yes i did, because a lovely girl like you deserves this." "Jacob stop, your making me blush." I say. "Well then this will a make you blush even more." He pulls out the cake and on top of it is a necklace with a heart on it. "Jacob, you really didnt need to do this." "Ah but you see Emily I did." He gets ou t of his stop and puts the necklace around my neck. its beautiful really. It has a silver chain and the hearis the same silver but it has a name in it. "What does it say?" I ask Jacob who has his arms wrapped around my waist. "Well it says the name of one of the most beautiful girls I have ever seen." He says. "But it says my name...'' Just now I get what hes hinting at. "Uhm, Emily I was wondering if you'd like to be my uhh gilfriend?"

I can't say no to him. Honestly I can't. I've liked him since a year ago and I was just waiting for him to say something. I smile and nod my head. He turns me around and hugs me. I hug him back. For the rest of the night we just lie there gazing up at the stars. Me snuggled up into Jacobs arms while his head rests on my head. As i close my eyes to sleep Jacob whispers 3 words to me. "I love you."
