I've realized the story is starting off slow, and I'm going to most definitely going to change some of the chapters I've been working on!

The queen jet landed and the back opened slowly, revealing the one and only Tony Stark. But in the front seats were Agent Hill and Clint Barton.

"Clint, this isn't the walmart parking lot. These are not our people." Tony chuckled when Steve walked up to greet his friend. Natasha took Grant from Sam's arms and sat him down so he could see uncle Tony. Grant and Natasha boarded the plane and went straight to Clint and Maria.

"Hey idiot." Natasha smiled. Clint rolled his eyes and shoved Natasha away.

"Hey jerk." Clint chuckled. Grant climbed into Nat's lap amd sat there as Tony closed the back. Steve walked around, noticing it was a new jet.

"It's new." Steve said.

"Yeah, had to get a new one after Thor ruined my lawn and jet." Tony pouted. "That guy has no feeling for lawn maintenance."

"Awe it's ok Tony, you and Thor vondue a later date." Steve joked, remembering that memory of long ago, almost actually a hundred years ago in that matter.

"What is a vondue?" Maria asked.

"Something a Stark taught me." Steve returned.

After a three hour long flight to the Avengers Tower, Clint lowered the jet onto the landing platform gently so he wouldn't wake up the sleeping child. That meaning Tony, of course. Once landed, Steve opened the back and let Natasha and Grant out first to be greeted by Pepper and Director Fury. Steve wasn't to happy to Fury, mainly because that meant he's heard the news about Sam amd his encounter. Now, Steve also knew his next move, and that is to asign missions.

"Fury." Steve said with a serious face as he removed his Captain America helmet. Natasha handed Grant over to Pepper, who lead Grant inside. Maybe to meet up with Morgan or something.

"I've been waiting for this moment." Fury replied. Natasha filded her arms across her chest. She's known Fury for years and trusted him with her life, but she was not happy that he greets them like that.

"If you wanted to see us, you could've called." Natasha said. Fury nodded and turned around as everyone followed him, including Tony and Maria. Clint was already walking beside Fury as he talked.

"I know Agent Romanoff, but I've been busy. I've had Tony and Carrol search for the stones for four years, all of them have been found,  but Tony and Carrol came back with only three out of the six." Fury stopped and turned around.  Natasha and Steve surprisingly found themselves in a newly renovated Avengers Tower.

"So I guess this means our vacation is over?" Steve asked.  Fury nodded but Tony stepped up, his arm raised high in the air.

"Yeah um, you've had me for four years lookin' for them stones.  I deserve my vacation." Tony frowned a little sleepy. Fury rolled his eyes and pointed at Steve and Natasha.

"You two will meet at my office in the morning. And yes Tony, you'll get your vacation when you retire." Fury raised his eyebrows. Tony lowered his hand slowly amd frown.

"I can't retire, my head will explode if I do." Tony whispers.

"Never said it was written in stone." Fury left. Maria looks down at the tablet and slowly widen her eyes. Steve caught her movement and mentioned her to step aside. She nodded and both Maria and Steve walk off.

"What's going on?" Steve askes. Maria looks away and shakes her head.

"It's nothing, I mean, it's something. It's Sharon, and Fury thinks that in a few years, you and Natasha will retire. So, he hired Sharon to take Nat's place." Maria whispered. Steve was taken back, he was shocked. Sharon Carter, a CIA desk sitter, was now a field agent?

"Bullcrap Hill. Fury wouldn't do that." Steve said. "Heck with it, he's probably not even talking to Sharon anyways."

"Speak for yourself Rogers," Maria nudged her head to the side, signaling Steve to look behind him. He did and he saw Sharon giving orders to some office workers. "Look, I hate this plan. But he thinks that old Avengers are getting old, and Tony's close to retirement. Now he's bringing in the young ones."

"Peter Parker is too young, he can easily get killed." Steve retorted. Maria sighed and folded her arms across her chest.

"Yeah but he's Spider-Man. T-Challa will never retire until death as will Dr. Strange. Face it Steve, sometimes good things end so the great things begin. Your family, as an example." Maria finished off as she walked off. Steve looked off to the side to see everyone stare at him.

"I wonder why he's so tensed." Sam said slowly.

"Don't worry about it, that's Captain America, he always tensed up." Tony whispered while they watched Steve walk towards their way. Natasha also watched the sky, and she can tell it was about to rain. No sun or blue skies in sight.

Nothing really changed inside of the tower and life hasn't changed either. But why everyone was there at the tower, no one knew except for Fury. But no one knew where this next month will lead them.
