Sam pulled into the old Army base that has already been broken into. But Sam continued to drive slowly until he reached the same van that Maria drove. Sam instantly came to a stop and woke up Steve and Sharon. There was figures standing in the dark, but they couldn't tell who they were. Steve grabbed his shield and Sharon hopped out of the back with Zeus. Sam already had his Falcon gear on as he wore it the days he's been on the road.
They didn't say anything to the three figures that stood before him. But Sharon saw a smaller, leaner figure approached and she attacked. The female, who was our very own Natasha, grunted. The girls werw at war. Clint shot an arrow at Sam, not knowinh who he was. Sam easily took flight into the night sky and Clint lost him. Steve ducked as his headache began to grow yet again.
Sharon had Natasha pinned to the ground but nor for long. Natasha rolled to her side, bringing Sharon with her. Still, both Sharon and Natasha didn't know it was they're teammates until Maria turned on a flashlight.
"Sharon?" Maria asked. Natasha quickly released a choke hold she had Sharon in and backed up quickly. Sam landed dowm beside Steve and patted his shoulder, and quickly retrieved his medicine.
"Yeah it's us." Sharon sat up rubbing her neck gently.
"That might leave a mark or two." Natasha retorted a smart remark. Sharon rolled her eyes and sat up, ignoring Natasha's little chuckle.
"Where's Steve?" Maria asked.
"Over here," Sam helped Steve walk forward as he slowly became dizzy. "Someone drugged him, but I have to ask, was it you Nat? Did you drug him?"
"What? No! Are you insane? He's my husband, the father of my child! Why would I have a reason to?" Natasha asked questionably. Sam shrugged, knowing that it wasn't Natasha.
"Ok ok ok! Calm down, it's just we need to know who drugged Steve so he can be fixed." Sam added. Clint eyed Sharon, but little did she know that Clint saw a little smirk on her face.
"Is he mission ready? Obviously your file lead you here too." Maria asked. Steve looked up and nodded himself as he made himself walk.
"Yeah, I just have a headache. Our file lead us here, saying this is the last known location of the immortals." Steve breathed out. Maria folded her arms and Clint walked up to her with their file. Sam clenched the file Steve's team has.
"Alright," Maria smiled slightly. "Se can work together for now."
Natasha made her way towards Steve but soon stopped when Sharon helped Steve. Sharon wrapped her arm around Steve and Natasha clenched her jaw and balled her fists. Clint jogged over to Natasha, taking her into his embrace, stopping her from doing anything stupid. She calmed down when Steve stopped walking and lookef at an underground weapons building.
"That building is in the wrong spot..." Steve trailed. He left Sharon's emvrace and jogged over to it, slamming into the chain with his shield, breaking it off.
Steve leads them throughout the building. But he stopped in front of a familiar picture. Margaret Peggy Carter. Sharon hugged Steve as his eyes glistened with tears. Natasha glared at Sharon's move but her eyes became softened when Steve hugged Sharon back. Anger for Sharon built up in Natasha's body that she walked off. Steve saw this and pushed Sharon off. He didn't know what came over him.
"Stay away from me." He whispered in Sharon's ear. She chuckled and rolled her eyes as he ran to catch up with Natasha. He paused though. He looked towards his side as air was coming through a vent. Ha pushed it opened and allowed everyone to get in safely. He followed Natasha and grabbed her arm and pushed her up against the wall. "What's wrong?"
"Sharon is way too touchy with you." Natasha mumbled. Steve frowned and rested his chin on top of Natasha's head.
"I'm loyal to you and only you." Steve kissed Natasha's cheek. They both made their way up the aisle. Rows upon rows of old computer data bases. Natasha dashed forward with a big grin as she raced to the main computer system, almost like she forgotten everything that just happened.
"Shall we play a game?" She asked. Steve shook his head with a small smile in his face.
"What's this?" Sharon asked, plugging in a hardrive that had laid on the desk. She slide it into the PC and the computers flickered on. There was a gace that appeared on the screen. Steve and Maria stepped forward as the others watched the databases active and run again.
"Hello Avengers, what brings you here today?" A male's voice echoes across the room, grabbing everyone's attantion.
"We need information about the KGB and immortals." Maria demanded.
"Ah... the KGB. An assassination group discovered in the early 80s. Thought to be destroyed but later gree bigger than before. The immortals, a group of past Hydra scientists, creating a serum that kills people slowly." It spoke.
"Why are they growing?" Steve asked.
"That I cannot answer. You don't have clearance. But unfortunately, you all will be to dead to figure out why." The computers turned off and Sharon quickly grabbed the hardrive. Maria looked down at her phone and gasped.
"A mission launched from Russia about 2 minutes ago. It's thirty seconds away." She shouted. But before Steve could think, the doors sealed shut before they could get out. He looked around and saw vents on the ground. Clint shot an arrow and the vents exploded, causing a hole they call can crawl through. They ran in and with five seconds left, Steve grabbed Natasha and jumped into the hole with his shield protecting them all.
