"Have you ever had sex?"

"Yeah."

"Have you ever been drugged?

"Not that I know of..."

"Are you married?"

"Yes."

"To who?"

"That's none of your buisness."

"Well Mr. Rogers, you were drugged. I need to know possible people who would've drugged you."

"Natasha Romanoff. She kept her last name."

"So, Tony and Thor are out hunting. They couldn't have done it. Wanda is gone. Clint is busy with his family and on a mission. Maria, by what you said, wouldn't do that.  Sam is your best friend. Sharon never sees you. But your wife... she's with you all of the time." The pharmacist said. Steve wide eyed him, but he could be right. Who would drug Steve? If Natasha did it, she would've had a reasons, a good one too.

"Ok, I don't think Nat would do that without a damn good reason." Steve spat. Tha pharmacist sat there nodding slowly. Steve grabbed the lills to take to get rid of the headaches and nauseas feeling, he bolted out of there. Sam and Sharon sat there, leaning against the wall.

"Took long enough. We have an hour long car drive!" Sharon complained. Steve sighed and looked towards Sharon.

"And it took a day in a half while driving to New Jersey, to find a pharmacist that would blabber about the Avengers." Steve explained. Sharon rolls her eyes and stomps off, leaving Sam and Steve behind.

"So, why you lookin' worried?" Sam asked. Steve didn't want to answer, he didn't want to believe that fact that his own wife, the love if his life, drugged him. Maybe she didn't. But Steve couldn't lie.

"I told him my symptoms and he took a blood test." Steve paused and Sam leaned forward.

"And?"

"Well, he thinks Nat drugged me. I don't believe it but anything can happen." Steve whispered. By now, Sam and stevemade by the van, shocked by the news.

"I don't believe that one single bit brother, but let's get going." Sam said quietly.

"Truth or Dare is a game for children, Barton." Maria insisted. Clint rolled his eyes as he cuddled close to Brutus. Natasha laughed and raised her hand.

"It's a fun game though." She smiled. Maria made an 'O' shape with her mouth, shocked with Natasha ascting childish and not like an adult.

"Ok fine! But I'm not going first." Maria mumbled. Clint punched the air with excitement and he finally calmed down. He looked at Maria and Natasha, wondering who he should do first.

"Maria, truth or dare?" Clint asked. Maria rolled her eyes and gripped the steering wheel as she continued to drive along the interstate.

"Truth." She replied.

"Have you ever loved?" Clint asked. Both he and Natasha went quiet and looked at Agent Hill's direction. They never seen her with someone, in fact, they never heard the word 'Love' slip her lips.

"Yes. I was married when Nick Fury recruited me. But of course, my job caused my husband's and daughter's life to end. They were caught in cross fire when Fury was followed by terrorists. I shutdown for a year. From that moment in time, I realised that love is a weakness. If someone you love is hurting, you become weak because worry floods your head and you become unfocused. I pledged my heart to my work and I will never love again. I need to protect this country without distractions. Clint, your close to retirement, but Natasha, you want to keep living this life. How far will you go until you decide this life with a husband and kid is all distractions?" Maria asked. Natasha frowned and looked down. Clint nodded because he agreed with Maria, but of course Maria couldn't see that, she was driving.

"Sounds like your preaching to Nat to get a divorce." Clint chuckled.

"I am," Maria sighed. Natasha snapped her head in Maria's direction. "Steve Rogers is Captain America, leader of the Avengers. He'll always have this life. But you Nat, your just a woman in a suit with good combat skills. I think you and Steve are great, your a great couple, with a great child. But come on, when will you realise this isn't a life for a child?"

"I don't know. But I don't want to get a divorce." Natasha clarified.

"Hell no. Maria, I don't know why you said that." Clint growled. But Maria just gave him a simple nod.

"Like you said, it's the truth. Anyways, we're in New Jersey now." Maria warned.

Clint grabbed his bow and his arrows. Natasha pulled her booties and her gloves, grabbed her guns, and her batons, and she was ready to go. Clint slipped on bullet proof gear on Brutus. They slowly prepared themselves after almost two days on the road.

"Ok, let's go do this." Natasha smirked.

So there was a book called The Dare but the author deleted the book. So I asked her if I can rewrite it and finish it for her and she said yes. Turns out, she's not active anymore so I guess y'all would be getting new book updates. Doesn't mean I'll ditch this book, I plan to finish this book before school starts up again for me. So I hope you like this book so far, it's a little slow but that's OK! It's getting better I promise. I also hope you guys love The DARE because it's amazing and I hope my version is just as good.
