(Part A)

Virgil stood at the stage door leading to the imagination. He hated this place. Most of the characters here didn't give a damn about the sides, or were too trapped into their 'world' to notice anything wrong, but there was one guy. And Virgil hated him. He liked sneaking in the mindscape and causing trouble. But he had no other choice. He opened the door and steps inside.

He wandered past the various doors, each labeled according to who's 'world' it was. He eventually made it to the door labeled "Shorts ~ Sleep." Virgil steadied himself before knocking roughly on the door.

The door opens, and Sleeps face pokes out. "Anxiety? Hey gurl, come on-Oh, you're not Anxiety. I mean, my Anxiety. You're Virgil. Why are you here? What do you want?" He opens the door slightly wider, enough to slip out, before closing it completely. "This better be good b****. I was napping."

"Aren't you always napping?" Virgil let out a little huff, there's a reason he hated Sleep, "There's been a problem. Thomas is in trouble-"

Sleep laughed, "And you need me? I'm not a f****** side! What could I do to help? Ask Patton or something." Sleep turned to open his door, but stops when Virgil lets out a noise.

"That's the problem. He, along with the other two can't really help right now. And this is way too much for me to do by myself. You're one of the only characters that gives a fuck about Thomas and the others, come on, Sleep please." Virgil was freaking out. If Sleep wouldn't help...

"What about any of the Cartoon Therapy characters? They "give a f***" as you put it, can't they do something?" While Sleep was pleased that Virgil was begging him, he didn't really want to help. Like really didn't want to help. The "sides" never did anything for him, they all, except for Patton, seemed to hate him.

"No...they're kinda stuck in their 'world.' Please. If something really bad were to happen to Thomas you would completely disappear. You are part of his imagination, and if he were to die..." He didn't have time for this. If Sleep couldn't be convinced...

Sleep sighed he did not want to do this, but he really was not in the mood to disappear forever, "Fine. What's going on?"

Virgil explains as the two leave the imagination. Sleep was really starting to regret this. Like really starting to regret it. Well, at least he'd get to explore the mindscape.

(Part B)

Deceit smiled. The sides were his and Thomas was happy. He knew that it was only a matter of time before he was in control...forever. Although, he could tell that Logan wasn't fully convinced in his plans. He was logic for a reason. Deceit was fully aware that Logan wasn't going to be easy to corrupt, but he assumed he'd be easy to keep. He must have miscalculated. But it wouldn't be too hard to fix. Logan just needs a bit of...persuasion.

"Logan?" The logical side looked up, his attention fully on Deceit. "Come here. Please." Deceit smiled, holding out his hand to the other. Logan went to Deceit, standing in front of him stiffly. Deceit laughs, "Relax my pet, there's nothing wrong."

Logan stood up straighter, "Then what do you want?" His eyes, which should have had a lovely yellow ring around the iris, were almost normal. Deceit cursed under his breath. He had to go to the extreme for Logan.

"I see what you're hiding. What you're lying about to the others. There's so much pain, so much hurt. Let me take it away. Please my pet. I can help you." Logan looked confused, the yellow in his eyes dimming more.

"What? I don't need-" Logan blinks a little, the yellow in his eyes darkening again. Deceit smiles as Logan comes closer.

"Sit my pet. Let me fix you." Logan obeys, sitting himself on Deceit's lap, seeing that was the only spot to sit. Deceit smiled, binding Logan with a few snakes. This snaps Logan out of it almost completely. He struggles to move, but with no avail. "Oh it's such a pity you're being so difficult. This could have been so much simpler. You should have just let my snakes venom corrupt you. But now...now I get to deal with you."

Logan tried to fight against the snakes again, but with no avail. "What is the purpose of this? Why are you doing this? Stop this! This isn't good for Thomas! None of this!"

"But it is." Deceit turned Logan's head to look at the other two sides. Patton and Roman were sitting together, and Patton was happily giggling at something. "Look how happy they are. And remember how happy that makes Thomas. I did this." He has Logan look at him again. "Now to make you feel better my pet."

Logan's face goes pale as Deceit pulls him closer, "No! This isn't right!" He didn't know what to do. "Please Deceit, you don't need to do this..."

Deceit smiles, "I do though. Don't you understand? Thomas needs us. Working together."

"But we are very different from you. I give him the facts, want he need to hear. Always honest. Always true. Not like the falsehoods you provide. And the others-"

Deceit cuts him off before he can continue, "Maybe now, because of me, he doesn't need logic anymore." Deceit's eyes glow yellow as he smiles at Logan. Logan was very frightened, had Deceit always had fangs? Did he always look this terrifying? Was he going to kill Logan?

"N-no! Thomas, he...he...he needs me!" Logan silently cursed himself for stuttering.

Deceit just smiles as he digs his fangs into Logan's neck, claiming the side as his.

Logan seemed to relax immediately, his mind fuzzing, and a soft sigh escaped him before he blacked out. Deceit laughs slightly, knowing that it would be awhile before Logan woke back up. "You really are mine now pet."
