"Wait wait, why am I even thinking of him" I asked myself silently. I have to stop thinking about him. Yeah I'm just gonna continue doing my project. Alone.
"Psst psst nerd." I heard someone whispering to me but knowing me, I intend to ignore it eventhough it annoys the hell out of me. That someone groan and suddenly the chair beside me moves and someone sat beside me. "Hey didn't you heard me calling you nerd." erghh now I know who the hell that person is, Cody.
I made a decision to ignore him again but suddenly he was poking my ribs. Ohmygod this boy is so annoying! "Poke poke nerd talk to me, don't ignore me." he said inbetween the pokes. "Seriously what do you want Cody? Are you here to embarrass me again like what you did at cafeteria and why are you sitting here? Aren't you supposed to do your project with your partner?" I hissed at him.
Then he smirked back at me. "Nerd you're asking too many questions and don't even think I will answer any of your questions." He stated and I rolled my eyes at him. Typical Cody. I ignored him again because he's being a jerk and I do not like his attitude or him at all. Then again, he's starting to poke me, errghhh I feel like slapping this jerk's face but instead I pushed his hand away from poking me and glared at him, he chuckled at my behaviour. "Seriously what do you want?" I asked him seriously which he gave me a blank stare and then he said something I want to run away from him.
"Can you tutor me caclculus?" Did I just heard he wants me to tutor him, the school jerk and one of the best quater back in our school.
"WHAAAT? ARE YOU KIDDING ME RIGHT NOW?" I shouted at him and all of sudden the whole class turn their attention to us " Miss Holden and Mr Levine, is there anything you want to share with me and the rest of the class?" I quickly shook my head and mumble a sorry.
"Hey you didn't need to shout you know, I was just asking asking a simple question." He said in a duuh tone. Jerk.
I looked at him and he was staring back at me, still waiting for my answer. is he crazy or something? He's always the one bullying me and now he wants me to tutor him. I'm starting to hate my senior year and it has only been the second week of school.
What did I do to deserve this kind of punishment!! First the bad boys and now the school jerk. This is just ridiculous. Suddenly I feel a hand brushing through my hair and bring me back to the real world. Cody's hand, whaaat? Yeap he's definitely crazy.
I smacked his hand away and he glared back at me."Ouch that hurts Holden, the hell?!" He hald whispered at me in pain, I guess I kinda smack him hard. I chuckled at his response. "So what's the catch?" I asked him with a serious face, because I know he won't just ask me to tutor him, He must have a reason behind all of this weird behaviour.
He gave me a big smile before answering me. "Actually there's no catch in it and I'm failing calculus and if I dont score the next test I can't play for the team anymore." He answered me and gives me sheepish smile.
"Like I'm gonna belie--"
He cut me off by putting his finger at my lips and somehow he looked desperate and I kinda pity him right now. DAMN my kinda hearted heart.
