you stand in a crowd: a smiling face hidden amongst the others. i never knew you before. not in my earlier life, but i saw you around. i watched as you maneuvered your way through people, but you didn't abuse your talent. i admired you because of it; i still do. i pictured you to be flawless, painless, and youthful, yet as i've gotten closer, i've started to see that you are, in fact, human. still beautiful as ever, if not even more gorgeous than before, but now i know of your pains and personal traumas. i have seen your struggles and in turn your strengths. you may not be barbie-doll perfect, but i love that. i admire your strength. i would wish to live in a world full of people like you, but then how would i be able to feel the joy of having you all to myself?
