Screams of happiness and loud chatting were heard all around the beach. There sat Bucky in a white striped t-shirt and blue swimming trunks. The umbrella over his head to cover his body from the scorching heat. He was waiting for his girl to finish dressing. He heard footsteps run behind him. He felt arms wrap around his neck choking him. Bucky's eyes widened. He turned quickly kicking the person in the stomach. 

The person flew back but stopping themselves with their hands on the sand. He saw his girlfriend wearing a pink halter cut out bandage plain swimsuit. He ran towards her seeing a bruise starting to form on her stomach. "Aish, babe~ don't do that next time... you do know how my reflexes are sweetheart~"She rubbed her stomach wincing when she touched the bruise. 

He lifted her up and placed her on the beach towel. He began to rub sunscreen on her body. After it was done, he began to put ointment on the bruise. "I'm sorry."She looked down at her lap. She didn't like the disappointment in his eyes. He pecked her bruise and looked up at her brown eyes. "It's okay. promise me you won't do that next time. hmm?"He lifted up his thumb. She nodded bumping her thumb on it then giving his thumb a kiss. 

He did the same back to hers and patted her head. "Let's go!!"She grew excited standing up running down the sand. He saw her fall and laughed out loud. She sure was clumsy nowadays. He watched her stand back up and run to the water once more. He followed after her and the two began to play around. Their hands playing with their own beach ball that they just bought. They were so happy. 5 pm stroke the clock. The two got out and that's when he heard her stomach grumble. He chuckled. The two walked to the plastic bags. 

They sat on the towel and began to eat after wiping off. She had her hair tied up into the towel. Another towel was wrapped around her body. Bucky wiped his hair with a towel and dried himself off on the towel. She chewed on the churro, her smile bright. She loved it, he could tell. He watched her finish the whole churro and eat another one. He ate his corn dog, humming quietly. The two ate in silence and soon after It was time to go home. 

When they arrived home, they took a sweet lengthy bubble bath. The two were cuddling in the water loving the feeling of each others company and the love between the two of them. Her eyes began to flutter open and close. He pecked her cheek and said, "Sweet dreams my sweet little girlfriend~"She fell asleep in his arms. Bucky got out lifting her out. He dried her off with a towel and did the same to himself. 

He placed her on the bed and made her wear the new hoodie he bought her. a big rose embroidered varsity hoodie that fell to her knees. He put on simple white undergarments for her and pink socks. He placed her in the bed and wore simple black boxers. He sat down thinking on what to do. Next week was their anniversary. It was on a Friday. August 16, 2019 was when they got together. It was now 2022. He stood up pacing back and forth. She heard her whisper his name and Steve's. His eyes widened. 

"I forgot about Steve!"He grabbed his phone and walked out of the room quietly. He went downstairs to the living room and searched his contact. His phone number was still in his phone but he never once called since he thought they would be busy. He called 5 times until the 6th call worked. "F**k, Steve..yes!!!."A woman screamed out. His cheeks turned dark red. "Um, Steve? This is Buck..."He heard a little rustle and a curse word come out of the woman's mouth. 

"Hey Bucky!!"The woman yelled out. He sure knew that voice. "Natasha..anyways, Steve! What should I do?!! Our anniversary is coming up in a few days. I'm so scared. what should I do?"Bucky continued to pace back and forth. He heard a sound and found it on Video Chat mode. He saw Steve's ruffled hair. His face filled with sweat. Natasha was hugging him from behind dressed up well. "I can't believe, James Buchanan Barnes is actually freaking out on what to do for their anniversary. you should know Buck. you guys have been together for way longer than me and Natasha have been. Babe, any ideas?"Steve turned his head to his girl. 

Natasha shrugged. "Well, do something beautiful for her. do something that would hold a special memory in her heart. like take her to a forbidden island, take her to dinner at the beach, I don't know~ but my advice is you have to plan it thoroughly. A plan that she will love and appreciate. a plan that will make her cry so hard. you need to make it special for the two of you. A plan that nobody ever thought of."Bucky thought about it for a few minutes. 

"Well, we have to go~ It's like 12 am. We'll come there in two days. to help. We'll bring the others. we'll see what your ideas are~ I'll see you soon, Bucky!!"Steve ended the call. Bucky sat there running a hand through his wet hair. He sighed and walked up the stairs laying in the bed with her. He wrapped his arms around her waist breathing in her fresh showered scent. He wanted that day to be special for the two of them. 

"I love you~"He whispered.
