"Heck dad, why do we have to go to West Virginia? At one in the fricking morning??" Clementine groaned, rubbing her eyes away from the sleepiness. She stared at his foster parent, Lee Everett. Bags and Boxes were all over the place, but they were slowly starting to vanish into the car. Clementine felt like there were more bags under her eyes.

Clementine was nervous because her school would begin in less than a day, Heck it started in hours and it was one in the morning. we emphasis morning.

Lee furrowed his eyebrows, and answered in the simplest way to get her to understand

"Clementine, Carley and I agreed that this was the last time we will move states" Lee looked over at Carley (who was putting the bags in their mini van) then at AJ, who was sitting on the sofa watching the latest Disco Broccoli episode

"We've been to Georgia, Michigan, Tennessee, Richmond" Clementine was naming the places they've been. She sighed

"Can you please promise that this will be the last time we're moving? We can never stay at one state for at least 8 months." Clementine crossed her arms

"Of course sweet pea, If I could I would fight my boss. Unless I don't want to work anymore." Clementine laughed, Carley was checking their stuff in the car. She groaned as she struggled to close the trunk, With a kick, she closed the trunk.

"Good to go, Now let's get a move on. The faster we get to moving the earlier we can get to West Virginia" Lee cracked his knuckle, (a bad habit in Carley's opinion) and sipped his coffee

"Okay, It was about time we got to moving, C'mon now" Carley carried AJ into the back seat, Clementine opened the car door and rested beside AJ. AJ looked at Clementine with sleepy eyes as he passed out from sleep onto the 16 year old.

Clementine only smiled as she popped in her AirPods and played "Alive Inside" Her favorite song from a OST of her favorite game. But truth to be told, she was dead inside

"Ah shoot, here we go again." Clementine groaned. As Lee started to drive, they finally got off their drive way and onto the road, onwards into the world

"I know that meme," AJ smiled, sleepy "But there was a swear."

"I know AJ" Clementine sighed, looking at the cars they were passing by, there weren't a lot considering it was already late and actual humans would be asleep

"We'll be on the road for only 4 hours luckily" Lee said to the family, Carley laughed

"And 33 minutes" Clementine cringed at the thought of another road trip, but hey, at least it wasn't a 15 hour drive, they were relatively close to West Virginia. It would be hell if they went from Savannah or Macon to West Virginia.

Clementine figured she should sleep, Since school's starting at 9:00. It's the first day so they're starting later, and they were lucky.

Clementine then began to text her old friends, and she saw that they were active. Clementine suddenly remembered the name of the highschool she was going to, Clementine looked at Lee in the front seat, who was driving into the dark and empty highway.

"Also, why am I going to school for troubled youth?" Clementine asked, almost drifting into sleep.

Lee looked at Clementine through the mirror "I want you to get all the help you need, so us as a family plus an entire community of new friends, it'll be helpful for you" Clementine was confused for a moment, but realised what his father figure meant. She knew that he meant well

"Thanks, Lee" Lee looked over at Clementine, giving her a warm smile, then he turned to Carley. Who was fast asleep and cuddled in a blanket, Lee replied "No problem, sweet pea"
