An Undertale Story: Return

Chapter six

When no pain Came I dared open my eyes to see everyone standing in front of me with angry faces, I noticed even Ink and Error we're here which shocked me.

"GASTER LEAVE HER ALONE!" Error growled his eyes blazing, Gaster and UnderFell took a step back furious that their plan had failed.

"Sans you know what to do," Gaster shrugged, Fell teleported next to me but Ink sent him flying with his large paint brush. With a snarl Gaster used his magic to grab the small soul within me and held it in his hands, everyone froze seeing this.

"Hmph pathetic, you all seem so desperate to save both that disgusting excuse for a skeleton and this tiny little soul, well guess what, once this one shatters, so will her mind, she will turn against you all quicker than a Gaster Blaster can shoot, now hand my test subject back to me and I promise I won't harm this little soul," he snarled, I looked at everyone as they all glanced at each other and at me. The moment anyone took a step forwards UnderFell Gaster began to squeeze the soul making me cry out in pain, this made him chuckle.

"Gaster give it back, you have no use for her or the soul," My Sans tried to reason, this only made UnderFell Gaster break out laughing.

"I HAVE EVERY USE FOR THIS SOUL AND THAT CREATURE YOU CALL YOUR LOVER! WITH THEM I CAN DESTROY THE WORLD AND GET RID OF ALL THE HUMANS THAT DID US WRONG!" Gaster roared, I winced as he squeezed the soul tighter. If he were to apply any more pressure the soul would break, my heart sank as he realised this also and with a large smirk completely shattered it in his hand. I felt my whole body freeze, with wide eyes everyone turned to look at me. I felt all my emotions slowly draining from my mind, my body felt numb and I stood my once purple magic now jet black as I stared at Gaster with a blank expression, this caused him to raise an eye socket as I simply stood there. I could see fear building up in both Ink's and Error's eyes as they knew what was about to happen, pushing everyone back they stood ready to defend should I attack but to everyone's surprise I stood there like an empty shell for who knows how long.

After ages of standing I could sense everyone's growing fear, even UnderFell Gaster's fear began to outweigh his courage. That was exactly the type of emotion I had been craving, spreading my good wing and what remained of my other wing I lunged for him. With great strength I began to smash at his rib cage with no emotions on my face, I heard his cries of pain which only drove me on. Finally I reached his soul and gripped it with my hands before pulling it from his chest causing his face to turn from simple pain and fear to pure fear, smirking I began to squeeze it ignoring the tug on my shoulders as something began to try and pull me back. With a chuckle I went to smash his soul into the ground but he vanished before I made him turn to dust, with that I spun around to face everyone else who began to back away as my emotionless face didn't change. I felt hungry for more destruction, a sudden pain shooting through my head made me collapse to my knees and shriek in pain.

"I'm sorry Atari..." I heard Ink whisper as he used his magic to knock me out cold, with a grunt I fell to the floor my eyes closing almost in an instant as I hit the cold ground beneath me.

I awoke to find myself in a cage, light beams trapped my inside and I began to chuckle which soon turned into a laughing fit. My body felt numb and my emotions were gone but I continued to laugh, hearing footsteps coming my laughter stopped and I walked up to the magic beams.

"A-Atari??" Came a soft and concerned voice, growling I jumped at the beams to get to the soul on the other side. I instantly regretted it and jumped back in pain, Sans gave a sigh and leant against the opposite wall.

"Hahahahahahha AHAHAHAHAHA!" I broke out laughing again as I watched him through crazed eyes, this made him a little jumpy.

"OHHHHHH SANSY MY LOVE! COME GIVE ME A HUG!" I laughed my voice growing to a dark but high pitch, Sans stood up straight and with a sad but terrified look he left.

"AWWW COME BACK SANSY!" I chuckled watching him leave, a few minutes later Gaster (normal universe) arrived holding some sort of restraint.

"Atari I'm going to put this on you alright?" He explained almost as if asking a question, without a thought I jumped at the beams again but jumped back laughing like a maniac.

"PUT THAT ON ME AND I WILL RIP OUT YOUR SOUL!" I screeched while laughing, Gaster looked hesitant but turned the beams off and threw me against the wall with his magic. I tried to thrash around but magic held me in place as he put a strange device around my neck, snarling I attempted to use my magic but found I couldn't. While I was distracted Gaster took the chance to get out before I attacked, watching him leave I gave a scream of rage and began to continuously attack the light beams. Suddenly the beams vanished and I crashed into the wall, chuckling I began to run down the hallways searching for a new soul to take. Before I could even think I felt myself get thrown against a wall, shaking my head I looked up to see this one had metal bars instead of beams which made me hiss in disgust. I couldn't help but curl into a ball in the corner and whisper and laugh to myself as I slowly dosed off.
