It was Christmas time Aspen was now 7 months pregnant with a baby girl. It was the day of their group's annual Christmas dinner. They were all at Olive Garden Bucky kept watching the door and thinking "Come on baby doll don't do this forever.."
"Buck she's not coming I know who you are looking for. I told you she said she wasn't coming back to Georgia." Wanda said
Bucky shook his head "But she has no problem shutting the rest of us out except for you four." he said as he slammed his napkin down
"I'm not dumb she's hiding something. And she and I made a promise a long time ago that we wouldn't keep secrets and we always keep promises." he said as he walked out.
"I'm sorry guys.. he's just he stressed out and he's not been sleeping good. He's been having nightmares about Aspen that I have had to make him sleep in the guest bedroom." Natalie said
Meanwhile in North Carolina Aspen was in her apartment that she was renting herself. She was fixing up the nursery her mom and little sister Ashley was helping her get the room painted. Her step dad was putting together the furniture for her.
She got everything hung up on the walls as well. Including her name which was Everly Marie.

Bucky left the restaurant and went by Aspen's dad's house. "Hey John." he said
"Hey little James.. how are you?" John said
"I'm good. How's Aspen? She won't talk to me she hasn't spoken to me since my wedding day." Buck said
"She's great..she um she's gone back to school to get LPN degree and working for her Aunt Rachel. She's just having a hard time losing Mason and right now the last place she wanted to spend the holidays was in Georgia. This weekend was suppose to be her dream Christmas wedding and now it's not happening." he said
Bucky looked down and shook his head.
"Little James she's fine I promise I wouldn't lie to you. She just wants some time and space. She expected Landon's death. Loosing Mason was punch in the gut." John said
"yeah.." he said then he went home.
After the holidays were over the girls went to up to North Carolina for her baby shower that Aspen's mom and grandmother threw for her. After her baby shower was over the girls came to her apartment to help her finish up the nursery by organizing Everly's closet.
