-Second Person P.O.V.-

You step into the Wright Anything Agency in search for Mr. Wright himself. His daughter, Trucy, was the first to notice you enter. "Hi, (Y/N)," she said with a smile. "Are you looking for my daddy?"

You nod. "Yeah, is he around?"

"No, I think he's off at that bar playing tonight. You should go have a listen. I'm sure he'd love it if you were there." Trucy winked. Your face flushed and you nodded.

You decided to take her advice and have a listen to Phoenix play. You've never heard him play. He claims he can't play, but you would just have to be the judge of that. You tell Trucy a quick thank you before you leave the agency. You walk down the street to the bar. You find the building, push open the door, and step in just in time to hear Phoenix getting called to play. You make your way to the stage and have a seat at a booth that gave you a good view of him.

Phoenix began to play. You instantly recognized the melody, but you couldn't quite put your finger on it. You studied Phoenix carefully as he played. He looked unbelievably concentrated on the sheet music, not once looking down at his fingers. He made one or two mistakes, but played it off like it was part of the song. You were completely mesmerized by how his fingers danced on the ivory keys. At this point, you were staring in awe. You couldn't look away.

As he finished the song he smiled. He played the last chord and stood, then took a bow. The audience clapped, including you. As Phoenix scanned the crowd, his eyes landed on you. He looked surprised. The two of you made eye contact and you immediately looked away. After a few minutes, Phoenix had left the stage. You decided to head out, seeing as it was late.

"(Y/N)!" You whip your head around to see Phoenix calling out to you. "Y-You came to see me play?" He questioned.

You nod. "Well.. Trucy kind of talked me into it," you laugh sheepishly. "Y-You sounded amazing," you say softly.

"Th-Thank you.. Are you headed home?" He asked.

"Y-Yeah, it's getting a little late and-"

"Let me walk you home," Phoenix blurted out. His face was bright red and he hand his hand held out to you with a smile on his face. You hesitantly take his hand.

Phoenix escorted you out of the bar. "Phoenix, I thought you said you couldn't play?" you say softly as you two start walking.

"Well.. I don't think I'm all that amazing, or anything," he mumbles. "I think I'm mediocre at best."

"But you play beautifully!" You exclaim. "And what was it that you were playing? I still can't put my finger on where I've heard it.."

Phoenix chuckled and wrapped his arms around your shoulder. "Don't worry. All that matters to me is that you recognize it." He smiled and your face flushed. His smile was so attractive to you and it gave you butterflies in your stomach. He was so handsome to you and you had the biggest crush on him since you met him. Now he was walking you home with his arm around your shoulder. You reach your hand up and hold the hand that was draped around you. Phoenix instantly held your hand back, letting his thumb rub yours. You hummed softly. "You really liked it..?" he asked quietly, looking down at you.

"Of course, Phoenix.. it was beautiful," you say back.

"Not as beautiful as you," Phoenix purred. Your face was suddenly a bright red. Phoenix chuckled. The two of you neared your house. You both walked up to the front door. You take the key out of your pocket and Phoenix lets you go. You suddenly feel cold. "It was nice spending this time with you," he turned to leave.

"W-Wait!" You call out to him, not thinking. He turned to face you. "I-I.. Why don't you come in..?" You ask hesitantly. Phoenix gave you a lazy smile. He walked back up to you.

"You sure?" he asks. You nod. He was so close to you and you couldn't help yourself. You suddenly stand on your tip toes and grab his face, pulling him into a kiss. He tensed briefly, but shook it off and didn't hesitate to kiss you back. His stubble tickled your face but you loved it. He wrapped his arms around your waist and held you tightly. He pulled away and rested his forehead on yours.

"Please stay with me tonight," you beg. Phoenix smiled.

"I'd love to," he whispered before leaning in to kiss you again.
