If you don't know what Tik Tok is then where have you been all this time!? Tik Tok is a platform where anyone can lip sync to any kind of song or sound clip and post it for other people to see. The reincarnation of Musically has been wildly active with millions of people downloading the app and even making a living out of it.
Regardless if you have the app or not or you even like it, for smaller artists to have their sound be used on a Tik Tok and to have it circulate around the platform allows them recognition and also gains them fans. For many artists to have their song gone viral on Tik Tok can be heavily useful for them to rise up the ranks and be able to share their art with many people.
There's been clear examples as to how effective Tik Tok can be for artists, popular Tik Toker Caleb Finn gained Bebe Rexha tons of listeners regarding her song 'I'm gonna show you crazy'. As well as this, Tik Tok also managed to make its way through the beauty community inspiring a clown check trend with makeup due to the use of 'Hokus Pokus' by Insane Clown Posse
Personally, I see no point to TikTok as I believe it's not really a form of talent however I do agree that it's a very effective way for people to express their art to the world through this worldwide platform. What do you think?
