You know what I'm writing this one again as in original form. As I'm also working on my new work (Engagement Scandal), I have barely got enough time to start rewriting. Here's is a new chappie for you. Just dunn disappointed cos they are childish. ^_^

Chole's  POV

It was palpable that tension wss building in the car with Rhys. To say it was awkward was an understatement. If I hadn't known the fact that he lied to me, I would have initiated the conversation to ease the tension. I could feel the fatigue slowly take over me again as Rhys was driving fast. I couldn't help imaging myself in bed curling and forgetting all for a while.

The vehicle stopped abruptly causing me to jerk forwards.

"Do you love him?" He asked me out of nowhere.

"What?" I glanced at him. He didn't even look at me while talking.

"I asked, do you love him?" I could sense the anger radiating from him. His knuckles were white from gripping the steering wheel so hard.

I didn't say a word because I didn't understand what he was talking about.

"Don't play dumb with me, Chole. There are many good guys out there. Why Nicolas?"  He hissed Nick's name as if it was a curse.

I couldn't believe that he had the nerve to be overprotective and controlling again like in old days after all the lies he fed me. The anger I'd felt since the morning resurfaced.

"Nothing concerned with you. You've lost the right since you left me without saying goodbye. Don't forget the fact that you lied to me since the day one we met." These words seemed to work to make him say nothing anymore. Then,he turned to me and asked me with a look-Who-told-you.

"Your cousin." There was a slience moment between us.

"Look, BabyC. I don't know what he told you. But, could you please give me a chance why all happened that way? As much as I want to clear the air, you look so tired right now. Let me take you out dinner tonight and I'll explain you everything and make up to you. Pls, give this idiot one more chance."

He was giving me his puppy eyes which was unsuitable for his big hulk. But I always find it cute like always. And he knew that I could never say 'No' for answer since we became friends. I could sense vulnerability in him.

"Only once. This time you screw up and you're gone from my life."

"Never." His wolfy smile spread on his face.

"Now just send me home. Go Go because I feel dizzy already." I said massaging my temples.

"As mi lady's wish." And playful Rhys that I know returned. My lips curved slightly upwards.

The tension had gone ,and we joked and had fun like in old times on the way to my house.

"Don't forget about tonight, babyC. I'll pick you up at 7 sharp."

"Sir, Yes, Sir." I mocked saluted him and waved him a goodbye.

Years had been good on Rhys. It would be a massive lie to say Rhys didn't look good in suit. He looked deliciously handsome, better than before. I bet he is a lady killer like before.

I smiled and entered to the house. That was when I saw angry looking gramdma sitting on the couch glaring at me. I slapped my forehead thinking "so much explanation to do."

She got up from the couch and walked towards me with her hands on her hips.

"Let me drink water first, grandma." I said and almost ran into the kitchen to avoid her glare even if it was for a while.
