Color filled the sky as the sun slowly made it's way up. It was a beautiful mix of pinks, oranges, and yellows. There were some hints of purple there too.

LeeAnn was awake bright and early as usual to watch the sunrise. These were some of her favorite times of day, the sunrise and sunset. No matter the time of day they happen, shes always there to watch. They remind her that even in this world full of hate, cruelty, and disgust, there is beauty, happiness, and kindness.

LeeAnn's thoughts were disrupted as her parent's ittle messanger bird, Aron, landed on her window sill, which only meant one thing.

"Mom and Dad are having guests over today?" LeeAnn aked the little bird.

"Correct as usual LeeAnn," Aron replied, nodding his small head. LeeAnn let out a small sigh as she looked back up at the sunrise.

"I'll make my way to the room. Thank you Aron," LeeAnn stated. Aron nodded once again before flying off.

LeeAnn watched the sunrise for a while longer until the sun was almost fully out. She then walked to her closet and opened the small hidden door on the far wall that her and Aiden made together. Inside were her t-shirts and jeans that Kaiden gave her the money to buy.

She put them on before sneaking out of her room and to the room her parents make her go to when guests are over. Inside, was a fireplace, a wooden chair by it, a small table, and two windows.

LeeAnn walked to the fireplace and crawled in. She made her way up the ladder that Aiden helped put into the fireplace.

LeeAnn popped her head out of the top of the chimney, looking around to make sure the coast was clear. She nodded to herself after she felt safe and pulled herself out. She planted her feet on the roof and took another good look around.

"No matter how much I come up here, the view is always spectacular..." LeeAnn stated to herself with a small smile on her face. She let out a small laugh before she let herself slide down. She stopped herself just at the edge of the roof and carefully lowered herself over the edge. She the jumped down, landing on a mattress she has hidden in the bushes.

LeeAnn stood up and dusted herself off before slowly making her way away from her home and into town. Specifically, she was on her way to The Pride Lion, her favorite restaurant.

The Pride Lion was a restaurant that had been open as long as the town itself has been around, which has been a good 100 years. The original owner was a lion named Shawn. The business was supposed to go down through Shawn's family, but his great grandaughter got greedy and sold it.

Luckily, she sold it to a wonderful Nook named Comet. He has taken the best care of The Pride Lion as he could, makimg sure the food is the best it can be, and lastly, making sure each employee works to the best of their ability. Luckily, LeeAnn had become good friends with Comet and his employees.

Today was going to be an exciting day for LeeAnn, because Comet just hired a new employee, and today was when she began working.

LeeAnn smiled as she saw The Pride Lion in the distance. She sped up to a jogging pace before stopling in front of the restaurant. She opened the door and was almost immediately greeted by familiar smiles.

"LeeAnn! Here nice and early! Your usual this morning?" Comet asked once he spotted LeeAnn.

"You know it!" LeeAnn laughed before finding her seat. A few minutes later, Comet returned.

"Alright LeeAnn, I know yiu were just as excited as we were for our new employee, so...this is Lazette!" Comet introduced. He stepped aside to reveal a gorgeous dog. She had mostly white fur with grey spots on her nose and ear. She had a sort of Emo look to her as well.

"H-hey! I'm LeeAnn! Its a pleasure to meet you!" LeeAnn mentioned. Lazette seemed a little hesitent but nodded with a small smile.

"Its nice to meet you too," Lazette mentioned. Comet smiled and nodded to Lazette to let her know to get back to work. Lazette walked off as Comet sat down across from LeeAnn.

"Shes not very social, but im sure she'll come out of her shell. But what are your thoughts on her LeeAnn?" Comet questioned.

"She seems nice! And I'll admit, she looks gorgeous!" LeeAnn mentioned, making Comet laugh.

"You and plenty of the men here thibk that. Though she doesnt look interested at all." Comet chuckled. LeeAnn glanced over at LeeAnn who was waiting on a couple who had walked in.

"You think she might be gay?" LeeAnn questioned, looking back at Comet. He shrugged, putting his elbows on the table.

"I have my assumptions, but wont act upon them," Comet explained. LeeAnn nodded just as her food was sat in front of her on the table. She thanked the server who nodded back to her.

"Welp, you enjoy your food. When it slows down a bit I'll send Lazette over so you can get to know her better!" Comet mentioned as he stood up.

"Thanks Comet!" LeeAnn replied, earning a nod from him as he left.
