M and L. Chapter 1.

In this world not just humans live. Monsters are real and they just hide in the shadows they can stand right in front of your eyes without you ever knowing. Most humans had no clue about these monsters but some do. A government made from both humans and mosters was made to keep them a secret and to cover up an accidents involving monsters. Some monsters fall in love with a human and have to choice either one of two paths. 1 tell the human and make them sign a contract saying they keep monster life a secret or 2 never tell the human they are a monster and kill them if they find out. 

Some humans hate the idea of monsters and made a hidden group to hunt down monsters and the government tries to protect as many monster who humans who get along with the monster alive. In this government everyone works in a team of two to solve case they given everyday. Each person name is kept a secret and everyone worker has a single file with info about them and their weakness in case its needed. Only the higher ups or the person partner can open the file. 

In the government work line many betray each other and many are killed. Some monsters still hate humans or think humans are a low ranking species that should become slaves. Many workers are bought out by someone at some point and those who stay strong and keep protecting till the end always end up losing something important.  

"you code name with be L and your Partner code name is M, when writing your mission report or anything you will use code names not your real names, if your partner gives you a nickname or other way round you must not use it in your report just keep to those letters" a lady said as she walked with a shorter raven hair man who was dressed in a black suit with a red shirt and white tie. "I understand, will I need to give my real name out" the man asked as they walked to a lift. "no its best not to give our your real name, you partner might give you their real name but most just make up nicknames since using Letters can be annoying or hard when more then one person with use the same code name" the women said and pressed the lift button. "I understand, are you not getting in" the man asked as he entered the lift but the women stayed outside. "good luck and work hard, your team room is door number 12" the women said and the lift door closed leaving the short rave hair man alone as he went down six floors. 

"shit, they never said who my partner is" the short raven man hissed and looked at his watch. "code name M, I hope they dont get on my nerves" he sighed and exit the lift before finding room 12. 

"hello" he spoke as he entered the room to find three desks and a counter on the side with a small fridge probably filled with cold drinks. "ah welcome stars" a women said from the desk on the left side of the room. " stars" he asked confused. "we cant give our names and my nickname always been moon so your stars" the women sighed and rolled her eyes before looking back to her computer. "what desk is mine" he asked a little annoyed. "your next to me, the single desk I'm the middle of the room is just extra space for us, we can use it to put notes or drawings down to do with the case" she spoke and he walked over to the desk on the right side of the room. His had a computer just like hers but he noticed she also had a laptop on her desk. A paper work holder and a pencil holder with pens, pencils, rubbers and a sharper already in it. His desk had four draws, two on each leg and he noticed an extension lead under his desk with two spare pugs left. 

"it be a good idea to bring a phone charger since will be spending many nights in here for cases, put whatever drinks you like in the fridge and we do have a kettle for noddle's or hot drinks. Bring anything you need for your desk or work tomorrow since we be getting the next case tomorrow morning, today you have a free day to look around the place" she spoke and opened her laptop not even looking at him. 

"you dont seem to be excited to be partners" the man sighed as he crossed his arms. He know losing a partner can be hard or suddenly meeting a stranger you have to work with can be annoying but she already acted like she hated him before they ever met. "I dont get close to my partners, since they all betray me for money or better rank, you can look over my file but just to let you know I dont have a weakness, you need to acutely stab or shoot me" the girl hissed and stayed on her laptop. 

As she told him he looked into her file. He found code names E and A by her weakness but it was highlighted red meaning they were dead. He read over her file and found she was skilled and good at her job but never got noticed for her work, she always been stuck in room 12 or decided to never leave this office. 

"oh my name mikasa" the girl said looking up from her laptop shocking the man since the number one wall is not to give your real name out since it could put other in danger. "I could use your name against you" the man said puzzled to why she tell him. "go ahead but I got nothing to hide or for you to use but please just call me moon since the boss is always yelling at me for telling my name even if I dont have a reason to hide it" mikasa sighed and rolled her eyes. "I see, we I'm" The man started to say but mikasa held her hand up. "idiot dont tell me your name, I could still betray you" mikasa warned and he smiled a little. "then just keep calling me stars" the man smiled and mikasa nodded. "Levi" the man thought inside his head as he wanted to pretend to tell her.
