"you really like laying on the roof, I can always find you hidden up here" he smiled as he sat next to her. 

"this is the only place I get to see the moon" mikasa whisper back giving him the side eye. 

"you truly love the moon" he said with a sweet voice and looked at her with gentle eyes. 

"Its the only thing that truly calms me, just look how beautiful it is" mikasa said with a slight smile making the boy next to her smile more. 

"yeah, it really is beautiful" he smiled as he looked at mikasa, in his eyes she was the most beautiful thing out there. 

"but I have noticed one thing since I started watching the moon with you" mikasa smiled but not looking away from the bright mood. 

"what that" he ask with a little worry.

"well the moon always been so bright and beautiful, it seems to always shine in the darkness and give up but with you" mikasa stopped and turned to him with a pretty smile.

"mikasa" he whisper as he lost himself in her eyes. 

"the moon shines brighter then ever we together" mikasa smiled as she started into hiss and the two was soon kissing under the bright moon, a small smile on both their faces. 

FLASHBACK OVER.

"mikasa" Levi asked with worry. "sorry I kinda blink out for a sec" mikasa said looking up from her desk. "do you want to have a break" Levi asked since they have been working for hours trying to think where the next attack would be. "no, we need to find the mostly likely place he attack again" mikasa hissed. 

"give up the case" Owen said with a frown outside the door not entering. "what" Levi said shocked. "you cant do this case, its too important to you and you might lose control when you find him" jake said with a little worry in his voice. "I be fine and we made a promise long ago, I wont be the one to break it" Mikasa hissed. "if you do this then you wouldn't be able to turn back, could you really go through it" jake asked. "yes" mikasa said with anger in her eyes and stood up. "but what if you dont turn back, what if you become lost" Owen said with worry and Levi just watched. "if I become lost and have no hope then just kill me" mikasa sighed shocking the others. 

"wait what is lost" Levi asked. "its k-kinda ll-like when a m-monster g-goes f-ffull power and g-go w-wild so they do-nt have c-control aaa-anymore" Owen said with a frown. "why would mikasa go lost, she a human like me" Levi hissed. "I see" Jake laughed. "what" Levi said puzzled. "who was the last one to know" jake asked mikasa. "he ... I didnt tell anyone after him" mikasa struggled to say and jake just frowned. "let me have this case, you wouldn't have to see him as the bad guy, you could still keep the happy past" jake said with hope. "he killed them and he killed a part of me with them, I cant just pretend to not see him as a lost, I have to be the one to stop him not you" mikasa said with a frown. "but m-mikasa k-killing a l-lost is h-hard but even m-more h-harder w-when its someone you ll-lov" owen started to say but was stop but mikasa glare. "he is a lost, he isn't my partner anymore and its my responsivity to stop him before he kills more" Mikasa hissed. 

"I see well then I wish you good luck on this case but for his sake tell him the truth and push him away so he wouldn't need to watch" Jake sighed and glace at Levi. "I will, please look after him for me" mikasa said and Jake just nodded. "we be here waiting for your return mikasa" owen smiled and he and jake walked back to their own room. 

"how could a human go lost" Levi asked with worry. 

"I'm not a human" Mikasa said in a gentle voice as Levi eyes widen.

"my father was part werewolf and part human, my mother a full vampire, they met in the woods one night after hunting and they fell in love, years later they had a part vampire, part werewolf and part human daughter. they loved their daughter but their families and other monsters didnt agree with such mix blood so they killed my parents before trying to kill me, I fully turned into my monster form and ran after killing some monsters who harmed my family, I was found by two human boys who drag me to their hide out and heal me, I lived with them in an orphanage since and they became my new family but they were killed like you saw" Mikasa said with a sad smile shocking Levi. 

"so you can go lost" Levi frowned. "yes and since I'm a mix blood I have a higher chance of going lost since I got too much power mix in me but I must fight him" Mikasa said with a small smile and patted Levi arm. "who is he" Levi hissed. "he was my first partner in this hell hole, we were close and always worked great together then after a couple years we fell in love but not soon after that he betrayed me and killed my family then he just disappeared, an old friend told me a rumour saying he became lost" Mikasa said with a sadden smile. "I'm sorry" Levi frowned. "its fine but now you know why I must be the one to kill him, he was my friend, my lover and my partner so I must be the one to free him from being lost" mikasa smiled and Levi nodded. 

"let me help" Levi asked. "no, your fired from room 12 and will be sent to a new room with a new partner" Mikasa sighed. "you dont have the power to fire me" Levi sighed. "I do, I got a good rank but I enjoy working in this room" Mikasa said showing her badge. "but" Levi started to say but mikasa shook her head. "you a good guy Levi, I dont want you dying because of a pass mistake, keep working hard for me" Mikasa smiled and Levi couldn't say anything back. "go save lives but dont full into the darkness" Mikasa said kindly and walked out the room leaving Levi behind.
