Chapter 5

Dream POV
I looked through Ink's window. It's gonna be hard getting her to go with me. The kid was stubborn. Sometimes.
I started climbing the wall and opened the window. I walked into the room and Ink wasn't there. I hid in the closet.
Minuets passed and she was carried in by Error. They were both laughing.
"But I'm not tired!" Ink whined.
"It's bed time for you!" Error replied.
Ink pouted and defeatedly got into bed. I watched Error tuck her in and look at some book with her. Not a story book. A sketchbook. He pet her head.
"Night kiddo." He said.
He left and Ink got out of bed. She walked to her window and looked outside.
"You're gonna get a cold." Flowey said.
It was a bit cold outside.
"I don't care. Look at the stars! They're so pretty!" She told him.
"I can see the stars. You don't need to open the window for this." Flowey scolded.
Ink ignored him and kept looking.
An hour passed and she got back into bed. I got out of the closet.
"Oh! Hi star man!" She whispered.
I sat by her. She sat up, smiling.
"Hey. Ready to come with me and ditch the bad guys?" I asked.
"They aren't bad. You just don't know them like I do! And never." She replied.
I rolled my eyes and teleported home. Blue was in the kitchen probably making tacos.
"How'd it go?" He asked cheerfully.
Shit. I forgot I had lied to him. Saying I was going to fight brother.
"Oh... uh, fine I guess. Same thing happened. Neither of us won." I lied.
He just smiled.

Blue POV
That lying son of a gun. I knew what he was up to. That poor kid is probably afraid of him by now. She doesn't even know his name.
I finished cooking and cleaned up. Dream sat with me and discussed his next plan for something. I wasn't paying attention. I didn't care.
I went up to my room and tried my best to fall asleep.

Ink POV
Error woke me up. I looked outside and everything still looks gloomy. That's ok though! One day it'll be bright and colorful! Error helped me put on my jacket and I grabbed Flowey. We went downstairs. Today they were taking me to a new place. I dunno where but I'm excited! He never takes me outside!
He took me to a place with lots and lots of stars! It was cold but pretty. He sat down and held me and looked at the stars.
"Error, what are you doin?" I asked.
"Stargazing. It's when you gaze at the stars." He replied.
I tried gazing at the stars like he did. I didn't see anything special about them. He explained what stars were and all about solar systems and constellations. It was interesting.
  A portal opened and Cross sat by me.
  "Hi Cross!" I said.
  He just looked at me.
  "Error, we need to talk. Alone." He said.
  Error told me to back through the portal and I did.
