Chapter 2

Ink POV
Horror and Red took me to Underfell. It's a scary place, but they seem to like it. "Uncle Horror, everyone here looks so mean. Maybe they just need a hug!" I said. He laughed. "They need to be killed. But, I have no orders yet. When I do you're destroying it with me!" He laughed wildly. "I don't wanna hurt anyone!" I cried. "Ugh, I swear we need to teach ya something about survival."  He grunted. He put me down in the snow by a mean looking snowman. I wanted to change the frown to a smile but, I was to short. So, I made a tiny happy snowchild. For once something was shorter than me. I looked around for Horror. "Uncle Horror...? Where'd you go?" I asked. But, nobody answered. A taller skeleton walked to me. He looked like uncle Dust's brother did but, meaner and not see through. "A child? Speak! State your purpose!" He hissed. He bent down to my eye level. I hugged him. He screamed. "What is this!? Get off of me you brat!" He threw me and I hit the wall. Nothing hurt but he was scaring me. "I wanna go home! I want my dad!" I said, tears forming in my eyes. "I just wanted to be nice..." the taller skeleton narrowed his eyes. "Pathetic." He said. "Being 'nice' won't get you anywhere!" "Boss, leave her be. She ain't worth it. Besides, don't you have traps?" Red asked. The taller skeleton grunted one last time and walked off. Red took a sigh of relief.

Error POV
I was internally freaking out at the idea that Ink was in a dangerous au. With Horror.... and Red. "Will you stop pacing? She's fine." Chara said. "Shut up. You don't know that." Cross replied. "I agree. Stop pacing. It's getting annoying." Nightmare demanded. The others weren't even kind of worried. Maybe Cross was but nobody could ever tell. "What if she's hurt!?" I asked. "Then we'll heal her." Nightmare said. "We can't heal her if she's killed." I pointed out. Nightmare rolled his eyes. "You cannot let your emotions and weaknesses consume you. Focus on what is important. Deciding which au we'll go after next." Nightmare said. "Maybe for once you idiots will get something done." He mumbled. Cross glared at him. "Not like you do anything important either." He muttered. "What was that!?" Nightmare yelled. Cross stayed quiet. "That is what I thought." I heard a portal open. I quickly looked to it. It was Red and Horror with a scared Ink. They put her down and she ran to me. I picked her up. "What happened?" Cross asked. Who cares? The poor kid was shaking like she was in the Arctic. "Ah, reds brother was being a b*tch." Horror answered. "Hey, we talked about this. No swearing in front of the kid." I said. Nightmare rolled his eyes. "She hears it all the time! Is that really what matters? Anyway, he threw her at a wall, no injuries but, still spooked her I guess." Red said, walking off. "He did what!?" Nightmare and I said simultaneously. "...Cross, watch Ink. Error and I are going to... 'talk' with Red's brother." Nightmare said, rage in his eye. That meant we're gonna kill him. "Will do boss." He said.

Cross POV
I watched them leave and looked at the kid. I normally wasn't the one to watch her. "Uh... you like chocolate?" I asked. She nodded eagerly. "Don't." My Chara said harshly. I gave Ink some anyway. She smiled as she ate it. "You're lucky she's sweeter than chocolate." My Chara said. "I knew you liked the kid." I whispered. "She's like a sister I guess. A little... ignorant in the facts of the real world though." He replied. "Cross, where'd dad go?" I asked. "Uh... an au. Error went to an au kid." "I know that. I meant why." She said. "Y-You heard em. To... talk to Red's brother." I said. "You don't have to lie. The man in the star cape told me what you guys do. And as long as you're still good people, I don't care." She said with a smile. "That might change when your older- wait what? Star cape?" I asked. "Yep! He says that you guys kill aus and that you're bad guys! But I know he's lying. You aren't bad guys." She said, starting to draw. "When... when did he tell you this?" This is bad. Very bad. How could we let this happen. "He told me when uncle Dust tooked me to under swap." She replied. "It's 'took' and stay away from him Ink... the others wouldn't like you being around him." "But he's really nice. He says I will be a hero one day. That sounds like fun." "No. Stay away from him. If you see him scream as loud as you can." She nodded. That was close. I don't know weather to talk to Dream or tell the others. What do I do?
