Regina and I is back to our daily routine. She is working with her assistant at the bank and I am working at the station with my squad. There has been no case as of yet which usually means paperwork and tons of coffee. As I'm sipping my coffee, an email that is address to me goes off as a notification on my computer screen. I then clicked on it and it had opened up a link. When the link was done downloading it was another warning telling me to tread lightly. I rolled my eyes and use my mouse to drag it to the spam box. I mean come on who will mess with a cop like me and a mafia boss like Regina. As I began to shut off my computer screen to go and turn in my paperwork, I see that a victim from Frankie's case had came in to come and talk to me. But then I saw something else the victim was holding a gun and was pointing it to the back of Jane's neck. She had pulled the trigger and I had jumped in the line of fire to protect my fellow mate. When I did I had been rushed to the hospital and I could feel myself getting cold.

I was sitting at my desk when I had heard my wife was shot. I was devastated and decided to rush to the hospital because these financial reports can wait. When I had reached to the hospital the doctor and nurses had forbid me to go and see her till she was out of surgery. It was now noon and we was now waiting for more information.

Around 12:30pm the first doctor came and told Emma's cop squad and myself that Emma's ok and she will make a full recovery. With great news they had headed home while I was staying with my wife.

Luka was ok because he was in Manhattan with Amanda and Olivia. We didn't have to get him till two weeks from now. But still as my wife laid there I was counting my lucky stars that she was still alive.

As I saw her laying there I was overwhelmed but I also knew that everything was going to be ok. Especially since Cora had taken over the mafia rig with Martha. I knew that my life and my wife life with our son Luka will be better.

It's now a month and this is the happiest that I have ever been. We finally got our happy ending and so did Luka.

The End
