I'm back again. Unfortunately its not a rusalka mami update. But instead something else spawned when @myszkin and I had a little dialogue exercise after seeing Mami's pretty fantastical Oiran photoshoot.

A little scene in our conversation blossomed into something bigger, only just slightly: a short story. This story I intend to have four acts as parts within it, marking the four seasons with the eventual bloom of the peonies. The time period is Edo Japan with the Yoshiwara district being the centre of it all, however everything else has been narrated with creative liberty.
I've just realised its been a solid three years since I wrote something of my own creative capacity. So I hope you all enjoy this story as much as I enjoyed writing it.
