White

the moonlight has always shone so brightly.

the stars that twinkle have minds of their own.

i lay in bed, as this happens nightly.

the hard consequences, I should have known.

if only I didn't give them my mind,

then maybe, this would have been a big dream.

i was a fool to think they were not blind,

for they were crushing my weak self esteem.

this sorrow, this pain, it's unbearable

i wish to spread wings and just fly away

but fate is pretty cruel and terrible.

leaving me behind, much to my dismay

life is slowly leaving, I see the light,

the only color I can see is white.
