I'm finally out of the hospital. I was feeling better then before, I still had a small cold but thats what they expected. I'm so happy i'm better and actually moving around, talking, smiling and laughing.
I look at my phone as it went off. I flip it over and sigh as I saw his name pop up. Joey.
Joey: can we talk? just you and i.
Kayla: sure.
Joey: i'll meet you outside
I left him on open since I was gonna see him soon. I kept my clothes that I was wearing on, which was black joggers and Chases hoodie. I quickly text Chase what was happening so he knew why I wouldn't be answering.
I head outside seeing Joey standing at my driveway. I give him a small smile, him smiling back at me.
"What's up?" I say, he opens his mouth with a shocked reaction making me laugh.
"You can talk!" I punch his shoulder playfully and we sat down on the grass in front of my house.
"So what's up?" he sighs, scratching the back of his neck.
"I wanna apologize for everything. I'm gonna be up front with you. Seeing you with Chase hurts me, a lot and I don't know why. I didn't think I had feelings for you but now I don't know. But I really like Kenzie, she's amazing, talented. But you're different, you surprise me every day, you're amazing" what the actual fuck.
One day he acts like he wants nothing to do with me, then the next day he does.
"Joey, I really like Chase. What you did was wrong especially when I was sick. You tried messing Chase and I up, for what? Joey if you have to chose between Kenzie and I, pick Kenzie. I'm not gonna be just some option to someone. If you really liked me you would've never wanted Kenzie. It's what they say Joey. If you have to chose between two people, if you really liked the first one then you would've never fallen for the second one" he stays silent knowing I was right.
"I understand. Can we just be friends at least?" I smile at him with a nod. He hugs me tightly shocking me a bit, I hesitate hugging him but I did anyways.
"I gotta go record a video, i'll talk to you later" I nod and pull away. We both got up and went our separate ways.
Chase: hey babe how'd it go?
Kayla: it went well. when am i seeing you?:)
Chase: i can pick you up in twenty minutes?:)
Kayla: of course :)
I smile widely and put my phone in my pocket, heading back inside going straight to my room. I put on my outfit.
Kaylas outfit but not including the belt that's clipped to her knee :)
