That day, they had cried more than they ever had in the past years. The sky had cried with her, she now remembers, a heavy thunderstorm suddenly appearing.

Zipping her raincoat, Mina had soundlessly walked away, leaving behind a half-eaten cake, a spare umbrella, and two broken hearts.

Unlike the breakups portrayed in novels and dramas, Tzuyu hasn't moved on, not even now, as she's in the hospital. Mina had left an empty hole in her heart that hasn't been filled. Not even her best friends' efforts have helped.

Yellow flowers are suddenly dropped onto her lap, causing Tzuyu to look up. Sana is standing in front of her, her face blotched red and stained with tears. "From Mina," she whispers. Her voice cracks from the hours she's spent curled up in a ball with silent tears flowing down her face. Her gaze hardens as she looks past Tzuyu.

Up. Down. Up. Down. Sana hates the machine that is the only sign her friend is alive. She brings her attention back to Tzuyu and pulls her into a gentle embrace. Then, she seems to disappear as quickly as she had come, leaving Tzuyu to stare at the envelope that, at some point in time, had been dropped into her lap. Printed neatly in black ink, was her name. . .and Mina's.
