shinso's birthday!

a/n: soooo, shinso and i share the same birthday. i was basically obligated to do this, also thank you for 10K+ reads!! ily :,)

Jirou: woah

Mina: woah

Ochaco: stop messing with
him lololol

Ochaco: you seem to be in a
pretty good mood, what's up?

Izuku<3: hehe he's probablh
excited to see his cats today

Ochaco: YOU STOLE HIS CATS?!

Izuku<3: i just borrowed them
for two days, they kinda loved
me 🤧💕💝💘

Izuku<3: we're also due for cute
date night, he hasn't taken me
out in a week, i'm so sob :,(

Ochaco: you guys are just
perfect for each other lolol

Izuku<3: i wouldn't be jealous
of us, he loves his cats more
than he loves me

Hitoshi💗: Correct.

Izuku<3: you're not supposed
to admit it!! T-T

Ochaco: deku!!

Ochaco: can you pass by my
apartment later? i need help
cleaning up :,)

Izuku<3: can't tsu help?

Ochaco: hehe it's a lot of stuff..

Izuku<3: fineeeet

Hitoshi💗: Oh.

Ochaco: shinso? what's wrong D:

Hitoshi💗: Nothing.

Tsu: Ochaco's house is a mess lol

Jirou: just HOW messy?

Momo: Please don't invade

Jirou: hehehe no promises

Ochaco: so it's settled, EVERYONE
HELP ME GET MY LIFE TOGETHER!!

Mina: cant help others if your life is
already a shIT STORM!!!

Mina: i know you guys aren't
big fans of them, but can i invite
the bois™️

Izuku: can someone just
tell bakugou to NOT kill
me? i just want some peace
and quiet for a day T-T

Mina: that's not possible

shinso slightly smiled at his phone, reading the incoming messages of his friends. he sighed and ran his hand through his hair wondering if they had geniunely forgot his birthday. they couldn't, could they?

i mean, it's possible some of them forgot, but all of them? it was either a scheme or they were just awful friends. and the ladder made shinso nervous. he bit his nails anxiously, thinking of all the possibilities they forgot. it had been pretty busy lately, uraraka was moving in with tsuyu, so it must be pretty busy. but izuku? izuku is forgetful sometimes, but he was sure at least his boyfriend would remember his birthday.

...right?

shinso sighed and decided to just go pick up his cats, maybe his boyfriend would remember if he came face to face with him?

grabbing his keys, a black beanie and a simple hoodie, he set off for his boyfriend's house to pick up his cats he had let izuku watch over for the weekend since he had to stay overnight at a his current demanding job.

after driving on the chaotic road of the evergrowing city, he reached his boyfriend's house and hesitantly walked to the door, knocking on it.

"hitoshi!! i missed you!" izuku smiled at his boyfriend and hugged him tightly.

"izuku, it's been 2 days." shinso giggled at his boyfriend.

"yeah, but i can still miss my boyfriend whom i love so much." izuku gave a big grin to shinso and invited him inside.

"did you kill sunny and luna?" shinso giggled as he looked around the apartment for a sign of the cats.

"nah, they're sleeping, i was too before someone woke me up." izuku lightly punched his boyfriend's shoulder, jokingly. "you can take them out and i can make food!!"

shinso looked at his boyfriend and nervously chuckled. "try not to burn down the house."

"it was one time! also, we're going to ochaco's house after breakfast, cool?" izuku smiled as he headed into kitchen to make something quickly.

deku!!: mhm! we got the
cat in the bag!!

"alright everyone! shinso should be coming in about an hour, so everyone grab a decoration and make this apartment look like the inside of a piñata!!" uraraka smiled in front of the group of friends all preparing to make shinso's birthday the best this year.

"bakugou, kirishima, todoroki, tsu, jirou and i are on cooking duty. uraraka, denki, iida, sero and mina are on decorations, iida and i are in charge so we don't burn uraraka's apartment down. everyone got that?" momo called out as she organized the party to the best of her abilities. the group cheered back and quickly got to work.

"here's your food!" izuku smiled proudly at the pancakes he made, they were made nicely, bits and pieces burnt, but overall good. he set it in front of his boyfriend and gave him a quick peck on the cheek.

"izuku, you make me the happiest man alive." shinso smiled to him and looked lovingly into his eyes.

"you're so cheesy, but i won't buy you another cat." izuku giggled to his boyfriend and held his hand as they enjoyed their simple breakfast together. it was perfect, really.

"everyone hide!! they're here!! you all did great but if i hear one of you ruin the surprise i will literally strangle you." uraraka called out sternly, but quietly.

everyone quickly hid behind the couches, in the kitchen and behind the dining table, waiting for the knock.

after a couple of climatic minutes, the knock finally came and uraraka silently hushed them, opening the door slowly.

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY SHINSO!"
