Revision of the locker room

Parkers POV -

"MOM!" Parker yelled from his bedroom throwing around his clothes making an even bigger mess."MA! MOOOOMMMM!"

Parker could hear his mother yelling from the bottom stairs "Parker James I taught you better than to be telling from your bedroom! If you want to speak to me then stop being lazy and come down here!" Rolling his eyes at the hypocrisy he made his way downstairs in a lazy jog.

As he descended the stairs he could smell his mother making breakfast and wondered how he was going to survive next year at college without her cooking. In a slow growl Parker ground out"Oh my gosh mom I'm so hungry" she gave me a side glance not turning around from the stove. "Is that what you wanted to ask me from your bedroom? Yelling like a caveman?" She turned towards me raising her brows is questioning. "Oh crap no! Do you know where my basketball bag is? And mom I'm sorry Kay? I love you" I gave her an extra kiss to sweeten my apology. I'm spoiled rotten and I take full advantage that I'm an only child. No shame.

"Okay okay just don't do that again, you aren't a child AND I've taught you better than that"

"Okay okay I'm sorry again" putting my hand in the scouts salute "I promise"

"Good.your gym bag is in the laundry room"

My dad is never home thank god because frankly he's an ass. My mom an him got together after college and got married practically out of convenience and that's what they thought the next step should be. My father never really loved my mother.

That's why I don't believe in love. It was never shown to me. Yes my mom shows that she loves me every day but I've never seen her and my dad even kiss. That's why I am sort of classified as a player. It doesn't really matter to me,I like to have fun and love is just a fallacy so I don't really care.

After literally roping out of bed and stretching my tight muscles I became more awake as well as my senses. The smell from downstairs was so enticing I practically ran downstairs.

Right as I hit the hardwood stairs going down to the kitchen I realized from the shivers up my spine that I should have put on a shirt or at least sweats before coming downstairs in my usual sleeping attire which was boxers. Yet I was too lazy to walk back up the stairs to re-enter my room and change.

"Morning mom" I said as she peeked behind her morning paper. "morning Parker, now come sit down and eat your breakfast"

We had a long and very tiring basketball practice last night because of the big game today. I never understood why coaches have such hard practices the day before a big game.

"We shouldn't even have practice tonight because we are going to kill'm anyways"Chris archer said. For some reason that kid always says or does the wrong thing at the wrong time. He's one of those guys that hangs out with your group because he plays all the same sports but I just don't really like him.

So today I'm extra sore and tired. Yet excited for the game ahead of me tonight. No matter what Chris says it is going to be hard to beat the eagles tonight. I ate my breakfast in silence lost in my thoughts about leaving for college. I've been thinking a lot about leaving lately and how I've never actually had a serious girlfriend...

My dad when he does ever find the time to talk to me always says that I should marry a high class girl that comes from a good family. He also seems to think I need to be married right away because I'm too reckless and he wouldn't trust me with his multibillion dollar company. My mom broke me out of my own cognition.

"helllooooo... Jeez Parker I know it's early but you can at least pretend to listen me"

"oh sorry mom just thinking about the game tonight was all" whenever I talk about my "future" with my mom she goes all 'your father and I only want the best for you' so I try to just avoid the subject all together "what were you say'n?"
