Anna's POV

I was just standing there dazed by chris. He was really kind and made me feel relaxed. Granted he doesn't make me feel like Parker does but it's a different kind that I seem to want more of. I don't understand why Parker hates him so much.

I barely noticed the bell had rung until people started to file into the classroom.

"hey Anna you have art next too, right?" Kelcie looked up from her drawing to look at me. Parker immediately backed away and I had already missed his warmth.

"yeah I do. You do too right?" I was hopeful because she was the first girl here that had actually been kind to me.

"yup yup" she said with a smile and went back to her drawing.

As I was going back to my painting just putting finishing touches on it I heard the most high pitched, shrill voice and it was none other than Kaitys.

"oh great. It's bad enough that she hangs all over Parker and tries to get in with his group. Now she's in my art class? She's so pathetic" Kaity said with a smile to her friend following her.

"wow for Kaity to publicly talk about you like that must mean you did something to piss her off" Kelcie laughed "did you pop one of her implants maybe?" me and chris busted up laughing.

"no but I did tell them that they looked uneven" I said with a shrug and a huge smile. It was then Kelcie and Chris to laugh.

"what's with the whole Parker thing? And trying to shove yourself into chris' little group eh?" she smiled as I rolled my eyes and sat down as the teacher took roll.

"I live with Parker now and I hung out with the group at brunch because I don't know anyone else here. Well now I do."

"oh so you're going after her one true love?" Kelcie did a southern accent while she said it.

I laughed "one true love? It didn't seem like Parker liked her very much..." I trailed off remembering our shopping trip ordeal.

"yeah no guys do. It's so strange how guys all talk crap about how she's disgusting and all, yet they all have sex with her. Huh Parker?" we both turned our attention to Parker doing this amazing painting of abstract colors and distorted people.

"hey don't drag me into this I never had sex with her" he smiled and turned to us "not that she hasn't tried though I mean come on look at me" Kelcie and I both laughed.

He was right though. He is very attractive and likes a lot of the same stuff I do. Maybe we could be really good friends.

"but Parker has fooled around with her whole group and well anything bangable at this school actually" Kelcie cleared her throat and gave him a almost warning look "well he couldn't have Kelcie of course because she's too good for him. Or anyone else in our group really"

"it's not that I'm too good it's just I don't like the little hoe's that hang out in your group" she said with a smile as Parker faked being hurt.

After a while of all of us just talking about different things I started to learn more and more about the people at this school. Every time chris brought up anything about Parker Kelcie just changed the subject and glared at him. I was missing something but I let it slide. I had invited Kelcie over this weekend to spend the night so maybe I can find out what happened between Parker and Chris.

I didn't feel like painting any more so I went over to the sink to wash off my brushes and dump my water when I feel something wet and globby on my back.

"oops so sorry. I'll buy you a new one. How much was it? One or two dollars?" I turned to see Kaity smiling and her friends at her table are snickering. What a little bitch.
