the screaming rang in my ears as i laughed obnoxiously, john was yelling about losing the round. i tried to quiet down as it was 1 AM and my neighbours were definitely already annoyed by past circumstances. smii7y was wheezing and john was now laughing along with us. it was just another regular night of calling with the guys and playing random games. we all calmed down and got off of cs:go to head to bed.

"hey, leah?" smii7y said just before john and i left the call.

"yeah, smit?" i questioned him back.

"are you going to start a youtube channel anytime soon? you'd be great at it!" he said enthusiastically.

smii7y and john had always been big supporters of me starting youtube since i've known them. smii7y and i went to school together and later down the road i met john through smit.

"i just recorded those recent rounds we played of cs so maybe i'll post them or something." i said.

"you better!" john jumped in.

"okay yeah, i gotta go. goodnight guys!" i quickly said into the mic while leaving the call.

that was a year ago, since then i have started a youtube channel and the support from the boys and their communities have been amazing! i have around 100k subscribers and i could never be more grateful! it feels like a dream, every day i sit down and record me playing games with my friends as a job!

today was normal, i sat down at my desk to get ready to record a session with john and smii7y. upon entering the call i heard a different voice that i couldn't recognize, i quickly became very nervous as i wasn't good with new people but i knew i had to try my best.

"hey guys?" it came out as a question, i didn't mean it to.

"lee!" john said, i could tell he was happy. he always called me lee, since i've known him.

"hey leah, we've got someone for you to meet!" smit cut in.

"yeah sure, who?" i asked.

"meet cameron or fitz on youtube, we know how nervous you are with new people so we're taking it slow." smit said.

"hi cameron!" i said with a smile. i knew who he was because i've seen some of his vids after my viewers had told me he has the same humour as i do. he also plays with john and smii7y a lot, so i've definitely seen him in their videos.

"hey leah, you do youtube?" cameron asked.

"yeah i do, i'll link it in chat." i said as i linked my channel in the discord. it was quiet for a bit, no one knew what to say and i sure as hell wasn't going to speak up.

"lee, do you want to play some cs?" john asked. he thankfully spoke up but i knew he was going to because he always knows when i get nervous.

"fuck yeah! let's go!" i tried to be more outgoing because i felt that i was being too quiet.

as i opened up cs:go to play, smii7y started talking about more guys wanting to join.

"you okay with that leah?" smii7y asked me.

"yeah sure!" i awkwardly giggled after to ease my anxiety.

that's when three more guys joined the call.
