There used to be a boy
With bones made out of metals
His heart made out of lead
And his hands made out of nettles
He lived on a bench
Alone in the park
Alone in day light
Alone in the dark
This was until a girl came along
And she saw that he was peeking,
So she walked over to the bench
Sat down and they started speaking,
She said "I saw you looking
Are you ok?
I couldn't help noticing
You've been here all day"
He replied " been here all day?
I live here alone
But no need to worry
It is a free zone!"
The girl looked shocked,
Sad and just stared
As for some reason
Her heart really cared.
From that day on she stayed on the bench
And planned to for the rest of her life
Until one day he plucked up the courage
And asked her to be his wife.
She said "yes I will
I would love to my dear
But there is one small thing
I happen to fear"
"not that your bones are made out of metals
Or that your hearts made out of lead
It's the fact your hands are made of nettles
And you cannot touch me until I am dead"
He smiled and said
"don't worry my dear, my touch you will not miss
Everyday upon every hour
You shall receive a gentle soft kiss"
