Mask's POV.
Today is the day I tell Toby that I love him. It is a long time coming and even though I just realized that I love him last night it feels like the information has been weighing on me forever. I walk down stairs and into the kitchen to see Toby sitting at the dinning table alone. Perfect!
"Hey Toby, can I talk to you?"
"Y-yeah sure I-i need to t-talk to you t-too."He responds.
"Okay, you go first." I say.
I mean there is no way his news is as big as mine so it only makes sense to let him get whatever it is off of his mind first.
"U-umm...o-okay...l-look your...I-i mean...o-oh for fuck sake I LOVE YOU!" He yelled.
At first my mind wouldn't register what he had said. When it finally did I burst out laughing.
"W-what's so f-funny?" Toby asked nervously.
"You beat me to it. I was going to tell you that I love you too!" I say.
He was really shocked but looked relieved.
"Earth to Toby. Come in Toby." I say jokingly.
"I-i..u-umm I-."
"Okay let me stop you right there." I said interrupting him.
I leaned in and puled down his mouth guard and kissed him. He soon kissed back. It was full of passion and love, I didn't want to pull away. When I needed air I sadly had to pull away.
"Can we keep this between us?" I ask after we got our breath back.
"I-i was thinking the same t-thing. After seeing what B-ben did to you for h-helping me it's not to f-farfetched to think that if he h-hears about this he might t-try to kill y-you." He says.
"Agreed."
"S-so what now?" He asks.
"I have the day off so we could go watch a movie in my room." I suggest.
"Y-yeah sure." He says with a smirk.
Needless to say we didn't end up watching a movie.
"Hey Toby can you meet me by the river near the forest edge later?"
"Y-yeah sure."
I have the perfect surprise.
