Ian Somerhalder ↑↑ playing the part of Nick

"Julia, sweetie, do you have everything you need?" Ms. Naris asks, in her obnoxious voice.

"Yes, I do. Now, will you please let me go?" I say, sarcasm dripping from my voice. God that woman is annoying as heck. I see Nicks car, it's an old rusty car that looks as if its held together by gum. Nick soon sees the look on my face and lets out a laugh. He guides me by the shoulders to the car next to it; a Mercedes-Benz.

Fancy is all I have to say.

"That's not my car, Julia," he says, amused, "Surprised, weren't you?"

"No," I mutter, annoyed. I get in his actual car, very clean on the inside, might I say. Won't stay that way for long as I'm here now. Propping my feet on the dashboard, I lean back and pop my headphones on having music blaring through my ears. He finally seats himself in the car and starts the engine.

*Time Skip*

It's already 7:00 in the night and we're still on the road, driving for at least an hour. It's now that my stupid headphones give out.

"I'm gonna let it burn, burn, burn, burn, gonna let it..."

The batteries died. Nick's focused on the road, so I slowly lower my useless headphones onto my neck, hoping he doesn't notice. The moment I do, he starts talking.

"Did the batteries finally die, Julia, or did you actually wanna talk now?" he asks.

Ignoring him I sarcastically reply, "Fuck off, you didn't talk then you shouldn't now."

Nick lets out a sigh through his mouth, I watch his expressions, he doesn't seem annoyed, but he sure looks tired from the nearly 90-minute drive. Yep, that's what you get for conversing with a teenager who's hella tired and just plain fucked-up.

Time passes and 30 excruciating minutes later, Nick finally pulls up in front of his house.

Boy....I'm speechless.

Damn, that's a neat looking house.

"Welcome home, Julia," Nick says. Out of the corner of my eye, I see Nick stealing glances at my face, looking for any type of reaction.

Oh, I'll give him one, a very boring one.

"Meh, It's big, who lives in the other rooms, your dog or maybe your dead cat?" I answer, sarcastically. I hear him chuckle as he unlocks the front door. Instead of being annoyed he's actually...amused? Why though?

The path to enter the house is tedious, to actually get to the front door you have to cross a bunch of bridges over little streams and some steps, because of the elevation. Nonetheless, his house is pretty big...like the Braden Family. But now's not the time to think about that.

As I enter, I see Nick hanging his coat on a rack near the front door, he tosses his car keys on the countertop and places his shoes near the coat. Catching me staring he says, "Oh, you don't have to take your shoes off, I just don't wanna track dirt in here."

I walk in closing the door behind me. His house is at least 4 times bigger on the inside. I don't take off my shoes but hang my jacket on his rack. "Come," he says, "I'll show you your room, and the house, just wait until we get to the backyard, you'll love it." He sure is excited to show me his house.

"Kay"

His house actually has 3 whole floors, the front door actually is located on the second floor, that's why it was so high up, but the lower floor is a gaming room and mini library-can you believe that-a library, my favorite place in the world. The upper floor is where the main rooms are.

Finally after showing me the bathroom and stuff like that we got to my room...

Blue walls, blue curtains, blue carpeting, blue sheets, blue chairs. Everything was so...perfectly blue. It was my favorite color. But how did he know that? The bed looked really comforting and so inviting, I just wanted to leap onto it.

"I hope you like it," he says, wringing his hands, "It was made especially for you"

I know he probably spent a lot of money on it and desperately wants me to like it. but I couldn't bring myself to say "Thank You" at least not to some stranger who "claims" he knows my dad. Instead, I go for, "It's really pretty, and I like it." I see him mentally and physically relax.

"So I know its really late and you're probably hungry so I'll show you the house tomorrow, since its Saturday anyway, but I'll just go make some dinner." He walks down the stairs and leaves me be to my thoughts. Nice room, but he probably just did it for me to like him, but that's not gonna happen. I'm really tired, I'll just get some sleep and be fresh tomorrow. Boy if I had known what was in store for me tomorrow, I don't think I would have been able to sleep.
