Chapter Three
A plan had to be made to get into the police station. I would need help breaking in, though. I had to have someone who would love to do this. Someone who has the strength and courage as well. One of my friends had these abilities. That one friend would be Jexter, since he loved breaking into things, such as grocery stores and dress shops. I thought all this to myself. I would have to talk to him tomorrow at school.
I was just about to think of more ideas, but then my phone started ringing. I walked around my king sized bed, and picked up my bright orange iPhone. I looked at the caller ID. Alex. I instantly picked up and answered with my usual, “Yellow!?” I heard a laugh on the other end.
“Sup Shay Shay?” Alex questioned me.
“Trying to figure out how to get Jex to help me with something. What about you?” I asked, while walking in my huge, bright green room.
“Why do you need Jex to help you with something? And what is this something?” She demanded, anxious.
“I’m going to find out what that note said that was stapled to her shirt when the police found her. I need Jex’s help to break into the police station.” I blurted out. She didn’t know I over head some girl talking about what happened to Natalia. Woops.
“Huh? What the heck you talking about, Shane?” She practically yelled into the phone.
“I over head some girl talking to her friends about her death, and about a note that the police found. I’m going to find out what that note said. And I need Jexter to help me!” I explained. I heard a squeal on the opposite end. I knew what she was about to ask me. I sighed.
“Yes, you can come and help, too.” I stated. I heard another squeal and a distant, “Um, Alex, why are you being weird?” and an, “OUCH!” I bet she slapped Johnny on his head for saying that she was being weird. I laughed to myself.
“Thank you, thank you, thank you! Call me back when you want to do it!” She said, and then hung up the phone. I pressed end on mine, and threw it on the bed.
Now. For the hard part. How do I convince Jexter to help me?
