Chapter 4: Mission:Chimera

3rd POV:

After escaping the prison cells, Blaze and Smokescreen find themselves in a place where Blaze begins to realize where they truly are.

" I think I figured out where we are." Blaze says turning toward Smokescreen.

"Where?" Smokescreen asks, but before she could say, a Jet Black Transformer with a muscular looking frame and piercing Red optics like that of Megatron, sharp claws and jagged fangs  that look like saw teeth with Red electricity that appeared after the Mech started glowing a red accent color, appeared.

"What the?! Who is that?!?" Smokescreen asked more than just surprised.

'Scrap! I knew it... I knew ever since I saw those chains where made out of Crystal-Jadeite that we ended up in my arch-nemesis' Kingdom.... back on my world between Time and space, but how?!" Blaze thinks now that her suspicions were proven to be correct.

"Blaze?! You seem to know him by that look on your face plates, Who is he?!?" Smokescreen asks now panicking because the Mech in front of them is beginning to move from the spot where he stands.

"His name is Volt...  and he is my lifelong arch-nemesis. I suggest we be very cautious and careful....Any false move will provoke him to attack." Blaze tells him with a growl in her tone of voice and Light Blue optics rapidly filling with hatred for the Black and Red Mech despite her stoic facial expression being unchanged.

'I've never seen her so angry before. Such hatred, but doesn't look like she is going to lose her composure anytime soon. Incredible...' The rookie reflects on the scene before him.

"Do you have any idea what is going on here, Smokescreen?" Blaze then asks him in a low voice.

"No. What is going on? Where are we?!" He asks knowing he is going to be finally getting answers.

"We are somehow in another world and most likely another time. How? Not even I know at this moment, all I know is, we're in a place that for some reason Volt happens to be here." The Seeker Femme explains leaving out certain pieces of information for both his sake and hers.

" That's impossible... The ground bridge can't do that! Not even a space bridge is able to send people to another time..." Smokey said in disbelief and the aura around him begins to intensify.

" Nothings impossible, Smokescreen, not even the impossible because even that will become possible one day." Blaze then says.

"...." Smokescreen stares at her gawking attempting to wrap his helm around  what Blaze had just said.

"This mission to recover the relic just turned into a Chimera, so therefore I'm calling this mission; Mission: Chimera." Blaze notes out loud to herself.

Just as Blaze is thinking that this so-called impossible mission is all to possible, especially when you meet said Dragon, the impossible becomes all too possible for even Blaze herself and ironically however, Volt was planning on destroying them both with an actual Chimera of his own, ever since he saw the both of them entering the outskirts of his Kingdom: Colatia, and then having them to play a game of wits and courage by forcing them into separate parts of a deadly maze like arena where they have no choice but to help each other if they want to survive and escape his lethal scenario.

"Blaze! There is but one way I will allow you and your friend to escape, and that is to try and get through this maze of traps and puzzles while assisting the other in separate maze paths as you go through "together", but if either of you or even both fail to do so, it doesn't matter who dies first; you're both history!" Volt says cackling and Blaze bares her fangs at him and begins to growl, with a low pitched semi-roar being heard from deep within her vocals.
