3rd POV:

The next morning, Blaze wakes up early and goes to the main room to set a ground bridge to her favorite place to spar and let loose. When she exits the bridge at her desired place, Blaze immediately begins her daily morning routine.

Meanwhile....

Smokescreen had happened to hear someone and walks out of his room quietly to see Blaze going through the portal. Through curiosity, Smokescreen swiftly follows behind before it closes.

On the other side, he sees Blaze already sparring by herself, and watches her for a few moments, finding himself  admiring the skill and power she demonstrates, with every kick, punch, or fluid like movement with her claws, wings and flames.

After a while, the rookie decides to make himself known.

"Wow....that's really amazing....., how can you move like that and can you teach me how?" Smokey said suddenly, startling Blaze making her almost attack him out of reflex. Realizing it was only the new Mech she met yesterday, Blaze quickly regains her composure.

"Smokescreen.." Blaze began in a stern tone causing the White and Blue Mech in front of her to stare down at the ground knowing he is most likely to be scolded.

"You should not have followed me, or even interrupt me when I am sparring. You could have gotten hurt, or worse." She continued.

"But why? Why come here alone?" He asks innocently.

Sighing she tells him that this a very private personal place and time for her and that if she hears and/or senses someone nearby, unless she knows and trusts them well, she can and most likely will attack them to protect herself if she needs to.

"Oh....sorry." Smokescreen apologizes feeling a bit awkward at the situation.

"It's fine, just don't do it again. Ok?" Blaze said keeping what Optimus said in mind.

"Ok....but, do you mind.... would you mind if I spar with you? I want to know if you can maybe, teach me a few things you know?" Smokescreen asks her realizing that Blaze is more of a seasoned fighter than most of Team Prime, even knowing things that not even Optimus knows.

"Oh? You want me to teach you a little bit of what I am capable of?" She asks him with a servo on her hip and an optic ridge raised in question.

"Yes! Will you?! Please?!? You definitely look and move like a seasoned fighter and know how to really keep your composure and confidence during a fight! Like Optimus! It's amazing!" Smokescreen pleaded with the Femme Seeker.

"...." Blaze stares at him silently, hesitating to allow him to spar with her due to his childish behavior and thought process, but agreed nonetheless.

"Alright..." She tells him, sighing.

"Really?" He asks her smiling.

"Yes, but Smokescreen, there is so much more to life than learning how to fight. War is not the only thing that is happening right now..., I hope you know that." Blaze mentions to the White and Blue rookie, unaware of both Optimus and Ratchet watching them spar and listening in to the conversation they are having: Optimus proud that his sister is willing to teach Smokescreen more than what is wanted and Ratchet who is unsure of the whole thing.

Questioning Blaze's words, Smokescreen then asks her what she means by that. Blaze then walks up to him and places a servo on his shoulder plating and leads him to the edge of a creek they were sparring at together and they both sit down.

"Smokey, let me tell you something interesting." The White Femme tells him.

"What is it, Blaze?" He questions becoming interested in the new topic.

"I was like you once, all energetic and willing to fight no matter what the reason or cost." Blaze told him.

"Wait. Really? What happened? You don't seem like the kind of Femme that would even remotely be like that." He questions her in disbelief.

"All of that changed the day my sister passed away, and I was left to take care of my brothers myself since my carrier and sire were not the best parents to live with, they were beyond cruel." She told him.

"What happened to your brothers?" Smokey asked her wondering where her brothers are at.

"I haven't seen them in Eons, so I couldn't tell you..." Blaze told him hiding the sadness in her voice and optics.

' They weren't there when I went home to see them either, but I couldn't tell that to Optimus, he would start to worry about me, being more like a brother to me than my biological brothers are right now.' Blaze thought to herself feeling guilty for not saying anything.

"I'm sorry, I shouldn't have pried into something so personal, and for being rude to you yesterday....." Smokescreen said apologizing again feeling bad for Blaze.

"It's fine, your just being innocent, since you're new around here and don't know too much about what is happening in your life at the moment, but.. you know, there is nothing more beautiful and terrifying than innocence." Blaze tells him forgiving him and he looks up at her with a small smile.

"Why don't you and I go back to sparring, shall we?" Blaze then says inviting to him to spar with her again, Smokescreen happily agreeing.

Afterwards they ended up sparring well into the afternoon before heading back to base to allow Smokescreen a well deserved rest, not regretting the decision to follow his new teammate. While Blaze not regretting allowing him to join her, but still unsure about the future now that he has joined Team Prime.
