Chapter 6: Newfound Friendship

3rd POV:

It has been three days since Blaze and Smokescreen came back from the unsuspected visit to the darkest region of Blaze's world, also known as Volt's Kingdom called Colatia, where Smokescreen had no idea where he was; Blaze knowing that it was most likely for the best.

" I can't believe they haven't woken up yet, it's been almost 4 days..." Bulkhead stated glancing towards the two.

"Ratchet did say they might not wake up for a while due to all the complications they faced where they were accidentally sent." Raf said in a matter of fact tone.

" Which we still have no idea what happened or even where they ended up." Arcee pointed out crossing her arms over her chassis.

"They do seem to be looking much better though." Jack observed also glancing toward them from where he stands at the hangout area.

"But we won't know exactly their true condition until they wake up. Whenever that may be, which I hope will be soon." Ratchet says commenting on what Jack had said.

An hour later, Bumblebee comes back from a scouting mission with nothing new to report as of yet due to none of the Iacon entries having been decoded in a while by either side.

Miko then goes into the med bay from her place in the hangout area to see how the two still in stasis are doing, still feeling guilty about what happened about a week prior.

"Blaze...., Smokescreen... wake up. Please? I didn't mean for it to happen..." Miko said in a small voice, tears streaming down her face.

"What did you do now, Miko?" A weak voice came from Miko's right side from where she was sitting in between them.

"*Gasp* Am I hearing things or did I hear..." Miko said turning around with hope in her light Brown eyes.

Gazing up at the voice she sees Blaze staring down at her with tired, slightly pained light Blue optics.

"Blaze..." Miko voices with more tears rolling down her face and Blaze gently reaches with one of her digits and softly wipes them away being sure not to hurt the human girl.

"Hey... what's with all the tears? Where is the cheerful, outgoing Miko I know?" Blaze said in a fragile tone.

" She's not here at the moment. You must feel awful..." Miko tells the Femme almost beginning to sob.

" I've felt much worse... let me tell you something Miko..."Blaze said.

"What?" Miko responds.

"I'll be alright, I just need to rest a little longer." Blaze continues making Miko smile now that she knows that the Dragon Femme will be ok.

" Should I tell the others that you are awake?" Miko questions asking for permission to do something for once.

"I'd wait until Smokescreen wakes up, but who knows when he will though, he took most of the damage due to not being used to being thrown in the position we were in." Blaze answers her.

"What did happen? And does this mean I can tell the others? I'm sure Ratchet would be the most glad to know that you're awake." Miko asks and Blaze grins with a small tired laugh.

"I'm sure Ratchet would be thrilled to see me awake again,but probably not as much as Optimus though to be honest." Blaze tells Miko.

"Oh yeah, I almost forgot that you and Optimus are as close as brother and sister to one another." Miko says in remembrance then says; "So I can tell them?"

"Yes, you can tell them." Blaze said letting Miko reveal to the others in the base that she is awake and Miko runs off to the middle of the room to gain everyone's attention in excitement.
