I TAKE A SIP on my glass of Martini as I looked around while enjoying the night of the after-party of my colleague in the fashion industry—Morphiere Anarkulova. She was a Half Filipino and Kazakhstani fashion designer. Her creations were really famous around the world, especially in wedding gowns.

My mahogany brown hair was perfectly styled in a side swept curl. I wore a sexy halter beige sequined evening dress with a long slit on the left side. It really emphasized my curves amidst that I already gave birth. I paired it with gold criss-cross heels, gold tassel earrings and necklace from MTD Jewels.

Inaalagaan ni Cristina si Irish sa kaniyang Penthouse. Umiyak pa ang aking anak dahil gusto niyang sumama pero hindi ako pumayag lalo na't gagabihin ako. Sinabihan ko na lang siya na babawi ako bukas at mamimili kami ng mga gusto niya.

Napabalik ako sa reyalidad nang mayro'ng lumapit sa table ko. Napataas ang aking kilay nang nakita ko kung sino ito.

"The night definitely made it more mesmerizing now that you're here, Madam Ivyarah. Your beauty could really resemble a moon that glowed and stood up in the dark sky. Can I join you here at the table?" Senator Gavlin Hibescos uttered huskily while smiling at me.

I couldn't help but roll my eyes in annoyance. "There's a lot of tables, Senator Gavlin. I might sound rude, but I really wanted to enjoy this night alone."

Senator Gavlin chuckled, and was about to speak when someone sat beside me which made me look at who it was.

"May I know what's your concern about my date tonight, Senator Gavlin?" Cristobal asked seriously while possessively putting his other arm at the back of my chair while holding his glass of scotch on the other one.

I smiled as I took another sip on my glass of Martini. It was also a relief that Cristobal was here beside me, so no men would flaunt and seduce the hell out of me tonight.

Kahit para kaming aso't pusa kami noon ay masasabi kong close siya sa akin. Siya lamang ang lalaking kayang makipagsabayan sa topak ko at nakakaalam ng sikreto ko tungkol kay Irish. Inaanak niya pati ang aking anak kaya't mas napalapit siya sa aming mag-ina.

Hindi makapaniwalang nagpalipat-lipat ng tingin si Senator Gavlin sa aming dalawa ni Cristobal. Bahagya siyang tumikhim at umayos ng tayo. "I'm sorry for that, Engineer Cristobal. I thought that Madam Ivyarah was alone, and I'm just concerned for her."

Cristobal smiled as he pointed to his glass of scotch at the corner. "Well. . . I'm here now, so you can go now. Be a gentleman, especially that your date was waiting for you in the corner, Senator Gavlin."

Napabaling naman ako sa gilid kung saan nakaturo si Cristobal. Nakita ko si Pantene Avenarius—ang bunsong kapatid ng aking mortal na kaaway na si Palmolive.

Pantene had a Latina beauty. Her long jet-black hair was in big curls that resembled Palmolive. However, they had different skin color, Palmolive got the white complexion while she had a sun-kissed tan skin. She was now currently wearing a sexy red thin-strapped skin tight long dress that was being paired with silver stilettos and jewelries.

Masama ang tingin sa akin ni Pantene habang nilalagok ang hawak na glass ng Martini. Agad niyang humablot ng isa pa nang dumaan sa kaniyang harapan ang waiter.

I immediately tore my gaze to Pantene to look at Senator Gavlin who was still staring at me lewdly. "You should go back to your date before she got drunk to death, Senator Gavlin, because you're disturbing my date and I."

Senator Gavlin's jaw clenched before storming away from my table. He went to Pantene, and I could sense that they're having a feud. She even shamelessly threw the glass of Martini which made the guests look at them curiously. With that, she walked away. He had no choice but to chase her to avoid the curiosity and scandal that might taint his precious name.
