Chapter Six - The gang

"Oh my god! Are you okay? And am i the only one that think it's a little strange that Luke called you 'his girlfriend'?" Peyton asked right after i finished 'the stranger attack' story that happened yesterday. Her voice filled with worry and confusion.

"I'm okay. yeah it's weird but i think he was just being protective." I answered with a smile before Mia shot me with another question.

"Why didn't you call us earlier?" She said frowning with confusion.

"I was quite busy and uh..i don't really want to talk on phone, you know?" i murmured while looking at two girls in front of me. I smile sheepishly and both of them send me a disapproving look.

"We're glad that you are okay. I know we're being annoying but it's because we care about you." Mia said sweetly with a soft voice making the smile creeps onto my face.

"Awe, Com'on guys. Group hug!" Peyton shouted a bit too loud for my liking but her loveliness makes me laugh. So, we have a group hug. I love these girls. That's all i can say.

"You know, we look a little weird right? hugging up in the middle of the cafeteria." I whispered while we're still hugging. And that made us unwrapped each other and exchanged the look before busted out laughing.

"So, what class do you have next?" Peyton asked me while checking her phone.

"Math." I pouted. I hate math and everything about that subject. It's complicated and hard and i suck at it.

"well, poor girl. You should have seen Jake threw a paper airplane and it hit Mr. Will's head in my last math class. oh my god. His face is priceless!" Peyton said laughing out loud. Fortunately, everyone around us was busy talking about their own story so no one is looking at us like we're a freak.

"Hey pey! Next class, I have the same as yours." Mia mentioned amusedly.

"ooooh, look like someone is alone again." Peyton sent me a wink playfully.

"Oh com'on-" i mumbled but got cut off the three of the school that just peeked in from behind me.

"Hello girls!" Said by Harris. Harris Raymond one of the three famous boy which has Luke, Harris and Casper. Harris is the playful one even though he has a really sweet and warm looking on the outside. Sometimes he could be quite annoying if you ask me. But he's the fun of the three. His hair is brown like Luke's matches his grey eyes but not in a cold shade of grey. He is handsome i would say.

"Hi Luke. Hi Casper." Peyton said smiling. She say hi to everyone but Harris. Well, they don't really get along. If you left them together, look forward to world war 3 cause it's so going to happen.

"You ignored me, babe?" Harris said pouting while he swing his arm over to Peyton's shoulder. But all she do is glare at him and elbow him in the stomach makes him groan in pain. On the other side, i think they would make a cute couple.

"Hey." said the familiar husky voice. I turned around and bounced into a strong chest. I looked up and found Luke smirking at me. Wow, didn't know we were that close. The closeness makes my heart goes crazy.

"Hey.." I said stepping back a little before sent him a smile.

"Zoe, you have math class with me after lunch." Luke mentioned with a grin.

"Really? Yaaaas" I said happily while grinning. I am not alone anymore and my bestfriend aka my crush is going to sit next to me for the next 1 hour. Good enough.

"So you're going to have math class with the lover boy huh?" Peyton peeked into the conversation and teased playfully. I just smirk smugly.

"The lover boy? i quite like that name, thanks Pey." Luke said charmingly. the edge of his lips tug upward into a smirk. Peyton rolled her eyes at him.
