Holy fuck, shit just got real.

I couldn't describe the emotions that I'm feeling right at this very moment. All I know is that a complete adrenaline rush has taken over me as look on into the massive space before me.

Who would have even thought that this guy standing right before you on this very stage was also a student body president that only cared about his grades; not to mention being a role model to his fellow students?

Ultimately it was hard living in the limelight.

At first I thought that both of these lives I lead weren't meant to be lived mutually. I mean, the stereotype on gamers was that we were complete geeks that only keep to ourselves.

Even worse, it's known that some gamers that are still in school have been known to skip classes just to be able to play their respective games.

Being student body president, my peers looked up to me to be their voice, and along with that was that unspoken need to be a role model in academics and in lifestyle. That being said, I made it a point to keep my life as a gamer and student body president separate.

Five of us stood o one end of this huge stage, basked in blue lights. Just opposite us on the other end, another five stood in red lights. These weren't just any random groups of people that just so happened to be put together; these were professional gamers. Having put five different individuals with such amazing deductive and strategic skills together, they officially mark themselves as a professional gaming team.

And here I was, 1/5 of this amazing powerhouse that I've come to know, not believing how surreal the whole situation was as I'm distracted by my thoughts. With my sense of hearing deafened by the cheering of over a million fans, I could barely contain my excitement as all our hard work has finally paid off to have come to this very moment.

Nerves suddenly started to kick in as I felt myself shaking under the intense pressure. Having made it to the international finals, you can only imagine how much is at stake.

Being brought back to reality, I feel someone's hand gently clasp onto mine. Looking to my left, I see my teammate xAthena with a reassuring smile on her face. "Chill 'lord, don't go all nervous on us all of a sudden when we have people looking us on," xAthena says with a conspiratoral wink.

Returning her reassuring smile, I take a deep breath as I look back onto to the crowd before us. The cheering takes on a whole new level to a thundering roar as the audience realizes that two of their favorite pro gamers have held hands in such a heated moment. There's been rumors of a little romance brewing on a certain team lately, but that's a whole different story altogether.

Grinning like an idiot at that very moment, the sudden boom of an announcer's voice radiated through the stadium as both teams are signaled to take their place to ultimately mark the beginning of the final round of the 2016 League of Legends World Championship.

This was it.
