Miraculously, the morning flew by faster than we anticipated. Having been kept busy by the heavy flow of freshmen wandering aimlessly around the campus in attempts to figure out which class is where, before we knew it t'was time for lunch break.

Since even during lunch break there were freshmen and a handful of transfees that had classes to attend regardless, I decided that it was best if we went on rotating shifts to give everyone a chance to grab lunch without losing manpower to help in assisting students. Char and I figured it was best if we went last to take our lunch break in the rotation.

As we continued to direct freshmen to which room was where, one student in particular caught my eye as she entered the campus. Since everyone was "Mr. and Ms. Prim and Proper" on campus, she immediately stood out in the sea of students that went in and out of the campus. This girl had jet black hair with the ends of her bleached and dyed to a mint green hue. Judging by her features, she was Chinese...perhaps even Korean, I wasn't sure. All I knew was that she was kinda cute.

Focus Kaiser, damn it. Now's not the time to get distracted.

Regardless, she struck me as familiar though I couldn't quite put finger on where I've seen her.

Immediately, are eyes locked onto each other. Embarrassed for being caught staring, I give off one of my signature effortless "Kaiser Tuazon" smile. As a relief, she returned the smile and instantly made her way toward me.

Unnecessarily straigtening my polo to make sure that it was tidy, I instantly greet and welcome the petite beauty before me.

"Welcome to the Technological University of Greater Manila, is there by any chance any way I can help you freshman?" I say almost automatically.

I almost wonder if I've said something wrong as she raises an eyebrow at me. In my mind, I heave a sigh of relief as a trace of humor riddles her pretty face.

"That's sweet, but I'm actually not a freshman. I'm a transferee from a nearby college now on my third year with a few back subjects that I missed out on," she said.

A third year student? She looked a bit young to be a third year, freshman sure but definitely not a third year. Nonetheless, I hold my tongue and refrain from saying so.

"Oh, my bad then. I'm Kaiser by the way, president of the student council here at the Tech," I said, making sure to keep my signature smile plastered on my face.

"I'm Sachi, Sachi Le," she said as we shook hands.

As soon as she made her introduction, I instantly recalled why she looked so familiar.

"Wait a minute, Sachi Le as in captain of the all-female League of Legends team, the Sweethearts?" I asked a bit too hastily. Immediate I regretted blurting that much information out.

With a surprised look on her face, she immediately composes herself once again.

"Why yes actually. Well, former captain that is. I recently stepped down as captain and left the team altogether. There were just too many politics going on within the team and I hated the direction that the other members were going. We just ended up as yet another one of those cutesy gamer girl teams that capitalized on cuteness which I hated.

Though to be honest I'm actually surprised that someone would actually recognize me in this kind of university. You play League as well?"

Crap.

"Not really, I just recall from an article I read online I guess which is why I recognize you," I lied as pat myself on the shoulder internally for easily coming up with an excuse.
