I made this book to keep track of the OCs I've made while roleplaying. Some I have used (though overused would be the more apt term) while most sit untouched. I figured that instead of letting them sit in my folders to rot, I could publish a book instead where others can browse through and roleplay with the OCs they like.

I typically roleplay those who identify as female and my rp genres/tropes are usually: romance, horror, thriller, fantasy, slice of life, chick flick, drama, adventure, mystery, and action (more to be added later). It doesn't mean we can't combine genres though; that'd be nice actually. I'm also okay with BL or yaoi or GL or yuri.

I have a hard time roleplaying science fiction, so I'll probably not do anything about that. I'm still shaky about writing action so I apologize in advance if you find them lacking.

There are no forms necessary although I would very much like to have an idea of what your character is like so it'll be nice to have a short description of them before we roleplay. I offer the most basic information about my OCs since I think it's more appropriate to build their character in the RP. So, descriptions such as name, age, sexuality, personality, physical appearance, and short character background about your OC would be very much appreciated.

That being said, even though this is more of an OC book than an RP one, I do have a set of rules that we all must abide.

1. Please be mindful and respectful to everyone. I understand that everyone is busy and there are times when we no longer can fulfill some of our obligations. So, if you are planning to stop roleplaying or to be inactive in any way, then please tell me than have me waiting for your reply. I would give you the same courtesy. It's also annoying to constantly tag someone to be honest. The least we can do is tell each other if we aren't interested in an RP or we aren't going to be active.

2. Please use more than 5 sentences/one paragraph in your reply. I can't roleplay with someone who only replies with: "She gave a nod and smile." Or an "I don't know," he shrugged and looked away." I would very much like this to be a literate and descriptive roleplay because it's more fun to build worlds and undergo character development than to stay a stale and bland character for the entirety of the roleplay. We can't do that if you only give me one sentence or two that doesn't: 1) further the plot of the RP; or 2) give your character development.

I'm not asking for novel-length replies. I'm asking for you to contribute with the idea of the roleplay we've come up as well as develop your character in every interaction or big event that comes up. That can only happen if you give me longer replies with more depth to them. Thank you.

3. Please have honest-to-god three dimensional characters. Perfection is not real. Heck, even so-called gods make mistakes too. Most of the time, people don't know what to say or do in a situation. What you read in my replies isn't what your character sees so whatever you know is completely irrelevant to your OC. It is also glaringly breaking the fourth wall if you do that.

Character development is good. People grow and change. Your OCs are a reflection of real people, so they must act like real people too: meaning they make mistakes, learn, grow, and then repeat. They're not all-knowing or all-powerful. Make them into real people and let's make progress together. That being said, please have an OC that's at least older than 16 or 17. Unless it's a side character, I would very much like to roleplay with OCs that are older.

4. Curse or swear words should be censored. Otherwise, this book will get deleted and that's the last thing I need.

5. Please, no god-modding or controlling my characters. I understand if it's for setting the scene, time-skips, or travel, but aside from that, don't control my OCs (stating that they have done this and that, when they haven't explicitly stated) and do not god-mode (as in not only controlling their actions, but also dictating what has happened to them. e.g slapping/punching them without the option of them dodging it).

6. Intimacy is key. There are going to be moments when two characters start to spark up some romance, whether it's intentional or not. Personally, I haven't done smut in an RP but I've done kissing, petting, and making out. If you aren't comfortable with smut, please tell me beforehand. We can always skip or fade it to black and imply that they've had sex. No worries :)

7. Please understand my roleplay restrictions and I'll understand yours. I don't normally want to limit myself when it comes to certain tropes or topics, but there are times when an RP goes overboard so, I'll add my triggers or no-go's in an RP, which includes: pedophilia, rape, incest, necrophilia, inaccurate portrayal of mental illnesses, and a serious case of Main Character Syndrome (in which the entire RP is all about you, you, and, oh, what was that again? Right, you. Completely disregarding the importance of my OC in the RP 'cause you want to make it all about your OC). I have no problem cursing and no problem with smut (though I don't know how to write smut, as I have recently discovered. Oh well). Anyways, these are my restrictions and I hope everyone will respect them, as I do with yours.

8. No means no. If there ever comes a point that I do not like our roleplay, or I do not like your OC, or I do not like the chemistry (or lack thereof) of our OCs, please respect my decision if I ever want to discontinue the roleplay. There's a large chance that I won't roleplay with you after too, regardless of what character you play or what scenario you have plotted, and that's on me. It's in no way a reflection of you or your skills; I just happen to think that we do not click or our writing styles are incompatible. Rather than continue a half-assed roleplay with halfhearted replies, I think we should just stop and move on to our separate ways.

9. Do not leave all plot-plotting and world-building to me. It's our roleplay, not just mine, and the least you can do is contribute with the idea of the scenario we've come up with. Leaving all of the responsibility to me and making me do all the work that guarantees our roleplay with drama is a lot of work. Let's be open for discussions and new plot ideas and side "quests" if you will, though that's only if your idea also happens to affect my OC. If you want to have a side plot where only your OC is involved, no need to discuss it with me unless (or until) my OCs involvement is required. Otherwise, the roleplay will be all over the place and it won't make sense.

10. I normally roleplay on discord. I have a discord where I mostly spend my time roleplaying because it is more comfortable and flexible over there. We can create channels, edit our messages for wrong spellings, and so on. If you have a discord and you want to roleplay with me, you can add me as a friend in it. Just hit me up with a message :) My username is Enn Arr #0809 There is a space between Enn Arr. Aside from that, I'm more comfortable roleplaying in the comments/book than in PMs here in Wattpad. It's just a personal preference :)

That's all! Thank you so much for reading!
