Ok guys so this is another attempt at writing a story for me. The other two im currently writing I have writers block for so I can't write!
This story is also a journal entry that I have to make for my English class. We have to have a 300 word short story or 3 100 word shorts stories, every other week. I'm choosing to do a novel that will have several entries. So I'll be doing my chapters like that. I know 300 word is short but I would get to cn fused if I tried to add two journal entries to make one. So I'm just going to do one at a time. I'll be updating this book right after I write a journal entry. So if I write 3 journal entries then I'll make 3 new chapters. You get it? Good ok!!! I also write this on pages on my iPhone so It might seem long to me on there but it'll seem super short to you! Sorry....

Running, I was running. I didn't know where or why, I was just running. It was dark, eerily dark. I knew I was running away from something, I just didn't know what. I saw a light, a bright beautiful white light, I knew it was my way out, if only I could reach it before the thing I was running from would catch me. Looking back I could barely make out this big form running quietly behind me. I could see red predatory eyes watching me, watching me run for my life. It seemed as if it had the speed of a cheetah, or something even faster, but it was so big it was scary. I turned my head back around and kept in running. I was running as fast as I could, but the light didn't seem to get any closer. I could feel and smell the monsters foul breath on my neck, it was so close. So close. I didn't know what to feel, I didn't know whether to feel scared or overwhelmed, but seeing the light finally starting to get closer I got a burst of courage and confidence and ran as hard as my legs could make me go; but, it was too late, I felt the air 'whoosh' behind me right before I felt the beasts claws dig into my back....
I sat up in bed With a start, drenched in a cold sweat, tangled in my sheets. Breathing hard, I looked towards my night stand and noticed that my alarm clock said 2:34 am. I got up and went down to the kitchen and got a glass to drink some water in. Going to the faucet, I flipped the switch so filtered water would come out and filled my glass.
